Those Christian “leadership” values forbade people in LGBTQ relationships to hold office. That’s not a universally Christian belief. That’s just full on discrimination.

Not exactly. From the article:

"This was the second lawsuit brought against the university after Business Leaders in Christ (BLinC) won their case earlier this year. A BLinC member claimed he was denied a leadership position for being openly gay. The group argued the member was rejected because "he expressly stated that he rejected BLinC's religious beliefs and would not follow them." (emphasis added)

Why was the applicant seeking a leadership position in an organization that he rejected their beliefs? Clearly to make trouble.

Right. "Religious beliefs" that say he can't be gay.

What's really funny is that Fox News didn't bother to report the amount of damages that were awarded to the plaintiff. The judge was so horrified by the University's conduct that she awarded the plaintiff $1.00.

Seems this Bund of Hitler Jungend are seeking to use Free Speech to discriminate against those they do not consider sufficently Christian. As expected the Nazi wing of the GOP supports them.

Time to stop pretending GOPers have any values worth defending and get them ALL out of office ASAP, before they succeed in replacing our Democracy with their Corporate Oligarchy.

A timely quote from the Americans United for the Separation of Church and State:

This week we saw the Trump administration’s embrace of Christian nationalism hit an alarming new level. Amid the administration’s daily chaos, church-state separation was thrust into the spotlight. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo gave a proselytizing speech titled “Being a Christian Leader,” which was then prominently featured on the State Department’s website.

I always assume that the regressives are not telling the truth on these stories.  I am just not able to uncover the lies as fast as they can tell them.

The GOPerLords rely on this, none moreso than the ToadPOTUS. They also rely on their lofo base to never bother to fact check using something other than Fox.

Our job as defenders of American Democracy need to keep finding the Truth and putting it out there. Otherwise the GOPerLords will establish their Corporate Oligarchy and with the Nazification of SCOTUS, our kids and grandkids will live as serfs on the Corporate Plantation, dependant on their employers for food, shelter, health care ,education and retirement, all of which will be withheld at the slightest sign of rebellion.

Based on my own interactions with "Christian Fellowship Groups", the University probably kicked them off for being pretentious  jerks.
