You forgot to say, 'make the most of it'.   Our first chance to correct a serous mistake may be the last we will have.  Think about it.

Uncle Sam I am

I do not like your plan Mr. Man,
I do not like it Uncle Sam I am

I do not like it on a note
You will NOT like it when I VOTE!

I do not like it in the North or South
I do not like the lies from your mouth

I do not like the hidden tax hike
Your refusal to release the
rates is very worm-like

I do not like your plan Mr. Man
I do not like it...Uncle Sam I am

So my husband did a quick calculation and if he had not retired in December and we were still making his old salary, we would be getting approximately a $45,000 tax cut.

But, now that we are retired and have much less income, under this new plan we will be getting around a $4,000 tax increase.

How is this possible?  Whoever came up with the premise of this plan should be respectfully whisked out of public service forever!  There are plenty of jobs in the private job market for people who want to squish the little (old) guy.

The latest news is that they are taking a break now so they can pass it around Christmas while WE are preoccupied with our "wonderful lives".

Just say NO!
