It doesn't matter what happens because his cult members never hold Trump accountable or responsible for anything negative.

Good news is that we can cheer up, this just isn't true when you live in an alternate reality.

From a Trump supporter at the Orlando rally on why he is for Trump:

"What he's done for this country, the manufacturing jobs coming back, our steel industry coming back, wages for the average American going up, Americans are getting back in homes again - it's a beautiful thing," said Robert Adamson, an insurance salesman from Merritt Island, Florida. "This is the only platform he really gets where he gets a fair shake at being able to divulge his achievements."

Trade wars continue to escalate, the GOP tax cut scam and it's deduction deception is rippling down though the economy. tax refunds that used to pay for down payments on cars and trucks now go to pay the tax increases that the average American faces.

It's not just the USA either, Americans buy cars from all over the world, or they used to.

Cars and trucks are made of steel, a lot of things  are. Water heaters, appliances, tools, nails and fasteners, pipe, beams.

Thing is people can't afford to rent a home, much less buy one.

The US economy continues to decline, lots of markers point to recession, this is just one of them.

Thing is Trump has to stay in office to stay out of prison, and Trump was a demonstration example of fascist authoritarianism even before he was elected.

The only thing keeping his head above water it the economy, even trying to gin up a war with Iran isn't working, concentration camps for climate refugees isn't working, gulags for children isn't working.

How crazy is it going to get?

Trump has the Republican party behind him, the SCOTUS is stacked with right wing extremist and child molesters, the Attorney General is his hand picked stooge that is doing favors for Trump's convicted cohorts.

People think Pelosi is giving Trump a pass, taking it easy on him. She is not, Pelosi knows most Americans don't really understand how impeachment works. The House can charge Trump with crimes, but it is the Senate that must convict him and remove him form office.

It should be clear to everyone Republicans in the Senate will never do that, Trump once said he could could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and he wouldn't lose any  voters. That is the Republican Party, that is the Senate

Pelosi understands that if the Senate won't convict and remove Trump, that in some people's minds that will be an acquittal. That will be how Republicans will portray it. That is how they portrayed the Mueller Report.

Pelosi wants  Trump removed from office at the ballot box, and then after Trump is no longer President, to charge him with his crimes.

Trump and Republicans know this, and they will do anything to stop that from happening, War with Iran, put a million people in concentration camps, children in the docket without parents, trade wars, it doesn't matter.

This is why Trump is baiting Pelosi to impeach him, he knows impeachment is his best shot to stay out of prison.

Pelosi for her part wants to see Trump behind bars.

As the election grows near Trump is going to get more crazy, more desperate, more willing to do anything to stay in office.

Don't look for the rule of law to protect you while Trump is President, as long as Trump is President, Trump is the law, that is what he thinks, and the Republican Party won't tell him any different.

Expect it to get crazy, no amount of obstruction, voter fraud, gerrymandering, hacking, or dirty tricks will be to much, Russians you say?  Bring on the Russians, whatever it takes for Trump and Republicans to win.

This is why Republicans in the Senate are blocking election security measures.

Well said and spot-on.

US Steel Companies Laying Off Due 2 Tariffs

United States Steel Corp. X 4.44% said it will cut production by idling two blast furnaces in response to falling demand for steel from a weakening manufacturing sector.

The company will take one furnace off line at its flagship mill in Gary, Ind., and another at its mill in Ecorse, Mich. The latter was idled recently for maintenance work and won’t be returned to service when the work is completed.

U.S. Steel and rivals Nucor Corp. NUE 3.68% and Steel Dynamics Inc STLD 9.04% have all issued downbeat guidance for second-quarter profit this week, citing weaker-than-expected demand for steel.

Production of cars and farm equipment have slipped recently and U.S. manufacturing output fell in three of the first five months of this year.

“Market conditions have softened,” U.S. Steel said on Tuesday. “We will resume blast furnace production at one or both idled furnaces when market conditions improve.”

Manufacturers are buying less metal;

U.S. Steel is among the highest-cost producers of steel in the U.S., making the company more vulnerable to falling prices. The benchmark price of hot-rolled coiled sheet steel in the U.S. has dropped by more than 35% since approaching a decade high last summer. Hot-rolled steel on Tuesday was at $533 a ton, according to S&P Global Platts’s price assessment.

U.S. Steel said it expects to earn about 40 cents a share for the quarter ending this month. Analysts had been expecting 51 cents a share in profit.
