So, you think it is good that Kim summoned Trump to meet?

Folks,

Anyone who says that this meeting is an indication of a GOOD JOB has not been a student of history.

More than anything else he's done so far; this is the most dangerous move any President has ever made.

All a meeting will do is legitimize a dictator that is of the level of Adolph Hitler, Pol Pot, or Benito Mussolini.

Trump's meeting will rise to the level of Neville Chamberlain's appeasement meetings with Adolph Hitler where Chamberlain believed Hitler to be a man of his word.

It appears that Trump has made this move with little input from those in his government that have experience in these matters. it is not a mistake that he would do it that way because anyone with international experience of ANY TYPE would clearly advise AGAINST any meeting of this type.

Trump is a loose cannon and he is going to meet with a man that can be described as nothing else but a "brother from another mother".

That is not a good recipe.

Well for once we do see some real news posted. It is the FOX news version which the leaders told the followers to use. For the most part it is accurate but the followers I am sure did follow instructions not to comment on it as they do not understand it, and of coure the comments really once again prove the experts correct about the far right in being uneducated.

Lets review the subject:

1. For the last year we have heard Trump make all kinds of threats against N. Korea. Trump was going to war, then calling their leader all kinds of names, and their leader was egging him on in return. We heard  from leaders all over the world who were becoming concerned about a new war. The N Korea missile program went full steam ahead and they now have the ability to hit the mainland US so Trump accomplished nothing.

2. S Korea finally decided to break from the US and start to talk to the North on their own. We saw that at the just ended Olympic games. They agree to meet in the N. Korea Capitol, and do so in the past week. They make a break through and come away with a framework for some type of deal. S. Korea has to get the US on board, and send a delegation to DC.

3. Today the State Dept. tells us that there will be no plans to talk to N. Korea by the US. The VP tells us the same thing in a speech. The Sec. of State is out of country. Our top expert on N. Korea at State left this past Friday. We have no ambassador to S. Korea as the person Trump nominated withdrew after talking to Trump about N. Korea some time ago. The Sec. of Defence nor anyone else in the Admin was consulted about N.Korea or the S. Korea group arriving today. The closest person we has was Trumps daughter who was in S.Korea last month. The only person who was supposedly ready for the S Korean people was Trump, and McMaster who got into it today.

4. The meeting with S. Korea people was this evening. It looks like they told Trump what he was todo, and he agreed. (Now he might have gotten instructions from Russia on this only time will tell.). Meeting ends and press gets a briefing from the South Korea people at the WH. They S. Korea people would not even allow Trumps own people to tell the press all they could do was back up what the S. Korea people told Trump, and that he agreed to a meeting by May.

5. Well lets hope with S. Korea calling the shots some progress toward peace will be made. We hear tonight that China might be loosening tourist rules for S. Korea for its people, and will trade more with them. We do know S. Korea has been talking to China over the last few months so it very well could be China has a hand in this.

6. It looks like the countries in Asia know that Trump has mental problems and have taken over ending this problem. Russia, and China know how to handle Trump, and it looks like S. Korea has learned. Have a big meeting, give him a parade, flatter him, invest in his business and you get what you want. They might have schooled N. Korea also. The US from world leader to world mental problem.

7. The one thing that was used here by the other countries is that Trump is a dictator and they could deal with him alone and he would not consult or follow anyone advice in the US who knows the subject. They called that one correct. Our Dictator in action.

Trump will accept Kim Jong Un's invitation to meet

President Trump will accept an invitation by North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un to meet, the White House confirmed Thursday night, in a dramatic development after months of sabre-rattling between the two world leaders.

Kim extended the invitation and the president agreed that the two would meet by May, South Korean National Security Adviser Chung Eui-yong announced at the White House.

"Kim Jong Un talked about denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives, not just a freeze," Trump tweeted. "Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time. Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached. Meeting being planned!"

Earlier Thursday, Chung announced that Trump would meet with Kim to "continue the goal of denuclearization."

Kim "expressed his eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible," Chung said. "President Trump appreciated the briefing and said he would meet Kim Jong Un by May to achieve permanent denuclearization."

Kim, according to Chung, understands that joint military exercises between South Korea and the U.S. would continue. The North Korean leader, according to recent talks with Chung, also claimed to be "commited to denuclearization."

"He (Kim) pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear missile tests," Chung said, adding that Trump's "leadership" and "maximum pressure" brought us "to this juncture."

Chung said that "along with President Trump," he is "optimistic of continuing a diplomatic process." But he added that "the pressure will continue until North Korea matches its words with concrete actions."

News of the willingness of Kim to meet with Trump follows recent high-profile talks between North Korea and South Korea.

Earlier Thursday, Trump announced that South Korea would be making a "major statement" about North Korea. Chung met at the White House earlier in the day with U.S. National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster.

Chung and other South Korean officials briefed the White House Thursday on a potential diplomatic opening with North Korea after a year of escalating tensions. Chung told reporters Tuesday that he had received a message from North Korea intended for the United States, but did not disclose what it was.

Trump and Kim have had a contentious relationship during the last year as both men dramatically increased the rhetoric against the other amid the backdrop of increased nuclear and missile testing by the North Korean regime.

In August Trump warned Kim that, if pressed, the U.S. would unleash "fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before." At the time, the president argued that Kim had "been very threatening beyond a normal state," adding that the regime "best not make any more threats to the United States."

However, threats and counter-threats continued into 2018.

"The U.S. should know that the button for nuclear weapons is on my table," Kim said during a Jan. 1 speech, according to a translation. "The entire area of the U.S. mainland is within our nuclear strike range," he continued, adding that "the United States can never start a war against me and our country."

The next day Trump hit back against Kim by claiming that the U.S. nuclear arsenal was more powerful. "North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the 'Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times,'"

Trump tweeted. "Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

The last round of significant talks involving the U.S. and North Korea concluded in 2009. The so-called six-party talks, which involved the U.S., North Korea, South Korea, Japan, Russia and China, ended when North Korea walked out.
