Exactly. Time to buy stock in pitchforks.

Think Springfield Arsenal and ArmiLite would be better picks, but you got the idea.

I suggest both sides of the aisle start looking to the needs of the American people and less to their own orthodoxy.  Otherwise, those people will not be satisfied simply voting them out of office.

Agree, but what Progressives MUST do is explain to the vanishing middle class that the ONLY way for them to enjoy the standard of living their parents enjoyed will be to reenstate the tax code that their parents enjoyed. So long as the ones dividing the profits the workers produce can give it all to themselves and KEEP IT, they will keep doing what they've done since Reagan allowed it - keeping it all for themselves.

Then the Democrats have got to put forward some form of "stakeholder protection" to keep companies from moving jobs and make sure voters know it's the lack of such laws that caused all those good jobs to relocate and not the trade agreements.

Finally the Dems need to show what they'll do with the improved revenues to rebuild America for the 21st Century and NOT give the GOPers any chance to claim it's not "shovel ready" be explaining there's a planning cycle that ALSO increases jobs that will preceed the actual rebuilding and improving.

@Richva  You may well be right about that...only the end result can also end up with an autocrat solidifying his power through police power exercised in the name of safety and security.  It's happened before.  You've got just the guy in the cat bird seat to bring it off again.
