First, do you have a credible source for that so called quote by LBJ?

Second, regardless of whether he said that exactly/ differently/ or not at all, he was correct..........................racist southern Democrats jumped ship to the Republican Party which welcomed them. There is no disputing that fact, and it's just silly to call Democrats the party of hate. All but Trump's Cult has a very clear picture of where the hate resides.

Antifa is made up of only violent Democrats - the party of hate.  The fact that you refer to people that like Trump "the cult" says lots about Democrats - the party of hate!

This supposed quote from LBJ didn't start making the rounds until the 90s, over 25 years from when he supposedly said it.

One thing we know for sure that he said, "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

At this point, his statement looks prophetic.

You do realize that this is 2020 and what you wrote now applies to YOUR party?  The old Dixiecrats are now Republicans.  Southern racists are now Republican.  White Nationalists are now Republican.  The Republicans are no longer the party of Lincoln, they are now supporting hate and seem to be actively recruiting it.

Just ask yourself which Party's supporters think the Civil War was some noble lost cause and try to say it was not about slavery?  The answer is your present party of hate and exclusion.

I know this is 2020 but apparently you do NOT!  The Democrat party is the party of hate (hate Trump, hate the Constitution, hate existing laws, hate Republicans) and representing you is racists and Antifa and violence.

People like you are the ones insisting that if you do not agree with everything that Trump says you MUST be a hater.  Disagreement is not hate and blind loyalty is not love (it is a symptom of a cult).

The Party that seems to "hate the Constitution" right now are the Republicans.

Hate existing laws, like what?  Hate Federal law enforcement agencies and interfere in justice, seems to be the Republicans.

Hate Republicans, or disagree with ignorance and attempts to rewrite history?

Antifa (which is on extreme end of the party), is not even comparable to the number of hate groups on the extreme right end of the Republican Party.

As far as a hater, maybe you should look in a mirror and start questioning some of the people you have been supporting.

BTW, I could care less what Trump says or doesn't say about something in Germany, unless he tries to insight hate by using other examples from Europe to back up his values and beliefs.  Since he has used instances of violence in the past to back up hatred and fear of immigrants, than he should be acknowledging that there is also right-wing violence that is doing the same thing.

You're the one that should be looking in the mirror for the reflection of the hatred that your party supports. What Trump DOES is GOOD for the country.  What you and the liberals want to do is BAD for the country.  You can call people that stand up for Trump a "cult" and that is exactly what I expect from the party of "hate"!

IMO, Trump is only good for the country if you believe in isolationism, concentrating more unchecked power into one individual, getting rid of the rule of law and having different groups against each other as good things.

As I have said and continue to ignore, I am not a liberal, I am also not one of the mindless sheep.  People who like Trump are not in a cult if they simply like the majority of his policies.  They are part of a cult when they unquestioningly believe everything he says and accuse everybody who doesn't back him 100% as being a "hater".  Sound familiar.

ChasKy53:  Although a host of European leaders decried the attack in Hanau, Trump has remained conspicuously silent about it. That’s in keeping with a long-running double standard of his presidency: Trump calls attention to acts of Muslim- or migrant-linked violence on his Twitter feed, but he has a pattern of sidestepping or soft-pedaling incidents involving white-nationalist or far-right perpetrators.

Of course he hasn't made a statement and won't be doing so unless not doing it has a political cost. I imagine he's watching these events and sitting there stroking his three chins and nodding approval.

Thanks for posting this.  Of course trump has remained silent, he has the support of Right Wing White Nationalists and thinks they are "fine people". He has never used strong language at his rallies or on Twitter to denounce them or their actions and never will. They are a strong part of his base.

He has enough on his plate with the election, the impeachment hoax, and this happened in another country so the liberals expect Trump to comment on this?  The left should get control of Antifa (left wing thugs) in this country. BTW- He doesn't support White Nationalists but the left does.  The Democrats started the KKK, it was Lincoln (R) who freed the slaves, and the Democrats that kept them slaves by giving food stamps, Medicaid, section 8 housing, and welfare.

How about the Right Wing trump supporting zealot with all of the trump signs on his van that mailed bombs to Congress?  How about all of the mass murders done by White men across America, most all of them of right wing persuasion?  These all happened a long time before the impeachment. Trump did nothing and said nothing.

Your reference to Dems and the KKK is erroneous to anyone knowing history, the racist Dixiecrats fled the Democratic Party. Another useless distraction.

The racists are white liberal Democrats making believe that others are to blame.  Do you know some of those liberal white Democrats that are racist?  Your revisionist history doesn't change the fact that most racists are Democrats.

Your revisionist history doesn't change the fact that all of the mass murders in the last three years have been committed by white male right wingers. Your revisionist history doesn't change the fact that the racists in the Democratic Party that opposed civil rights were Southern Dixiecrats. After the Civil Rights act was passed with Democrats voting in favor of it, the Dixiecrats left the Democratic Party and became Republicans. At that time all the Southern States went Red. Your denial just doesn't change actual history, it just makes you look like a revisionist.

Revisionist in only the liberal mindset!  Even when LBJ signed the civil rights act he made the statement : "that'll keep those n###### voting Democrat for the next 200 years".  Only that could come from the party of hate (Democrats).

That is not true but it's typical of the media and many that will do anything to bash Trump.

I wish i had the time to post the times that Trump has went after White nationalist, white supremacist and white separatists.

Actually won't take much time at all to list all THREE (3) instances IMPOTUS has went gone after white supremacy.

  1. Aug. 14, 2017: Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.
  2. Aug. 15, 2017: I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.
  3.  Aug. 3, 2019 (after the Walmart shooting in El Paso): The shooter in El Paso posted a manifesto online consumed by racist hate. In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry, and white supremacy. These sinister ideologies must be defeated.
