The response you would expect from a slowly dying party. They will have to answer to their kids at some point. How pathetic.

Skeptics have gone into hiding and more than likely FOX et al have decided not to discuss this news.     Apparently even reading the Summary Items is beyond their capabilites.    Here is the link for those skeptics that say they care about their families survival and that as if by magic the Climate Change / Global Warming process will miraculously stop and reverse course by burning more fossil fuels.   https://nca2018.globalchange.gov/

It's Now Cheaper to Build a New Wind Farm than to Keep a Coal Plant Running

The Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) per megawatt.

$27 and $45 for coal.

$29 to $56 for a wind farm.

$31 to $44 for a solar farm, depending on the technology used.

"There are some scenarios where it is cheaper to build and operate wind and solar than keep a coal plant running."

Wind power costs have dropped as utilities have turned to bigger and bigger turbines, which can produce more energy. The largest turbines installed today can produce double the power they could've a decade ago, according to the Energy Information Administration, dramatically increasing the amount of power a parcel of land can produce. Wind and solar installation has also gotten more competitive, driving the development of more efficient technology.

Congress and the President must implement policies that help us move forward - not backward.

All that will likely cause massive migration of domestic climate refugees.

And those are just the Republican induced disasters waiting for America. Much of the Tropics will become uninhabitable and the "temporate" zones will probably experience another ice age as the "heat conveyor" we call the Gulf Stream and Humbolt Current grind to a halt.

There's only 50 years before these disasters are upon us, and we owe it to Posterity to make sure our grandkids know WHO made it happen with their decisions on where we spent our resources, so here's how the Republicans intend to direct our economy:

More coal burning, less solar power.

No Nuclear power subsidities

No tax incentives for conservation.

No support for electric vehicles

No support for converting our trucks to NG

No control of methane released by fracking

No support for low/very low-head hydroelectric

and a foreign policy that continues to strap us to the hindquarters of the Saudi's

Other news, the shops were not filled with frenzied folks yesterday.   That could indeed mean that many did read the news release that the Republican generated report admitted that Climate Change was real.   If those readers who have historically talked about their family via future generations, then perhaps they will prove that they to understand that 2+2=4.      The question is will they act on that knowledge?

I think some Republicans KNOW that climate change is real, but they are so completely addicted to big oil money, they cannot stop the addiction. The rest of the GOP are either in denial or since they are told what to think about climate change by their news source Faux News, they simply fall in line without questioning anything.

The weird part of this is that RW here hilariously come up with "solutions" to individual activities, ie forest fires and seem to forget that any of their solutions cost money.    And of course these are the same people who don't want taxes to increase, in fact many would like taxes to magically go away and then wonder why there are no people to implement any of their solutions.   They must believe in magic beans.
