We all know Trump's deregulation of coal created 2,100 jobs and will kill 4,000 Americans each year, but that was then and this is now when the 41 EPA regulations Trump has axed WILL result in 8,000 additional deaths from various pollution sources EACH YEAR for the next decade.

This starts with additional regs being removed that HAD prevented coal fired electric generating plants from dumping 1.4 BILLION pounds of toxic waste into our rivers lakes and streams. Further, Trump has cut the Obama requirement that the coal fired plants reduce CO2 emmissions by 32% by 2030 to a ONE PERCENT reduction by 2030.

Among the wonders of having lil donny as the ToadPOTUS will be living in a country where the pesticide Chlorpyrifos is now legal despite its proven connection to brain damage in children. The chemical, possibly a derivative of Nazi research into gas for the extermination camps, was banned by the Obama administration for the OBVIOUS reason exposure to it caused brain damage in children. Trump said that was okay because it might save agribusiness a couple bucks. And considering how well he has done, early brain damage can't be a problem, right?

Trump's EPA also lifted the ban on hydroflorocarbons - which are 1,000 times as destructive to the ozone layer as CO2 - are okay to use in refrigeration and air conditioning, heaven forbid anyone have to sweat just to save the planet.

And in what might be the dumbest of the dumb, he cut the CAFE goal for 2025 from 54mpg down to 37mpg, in short, planning for NO IMPROVEMENT in gas mileage in US vehicles for the next 7 years.

Aren't CONSERVATIVES supposed to want to keep the good stuff we've already got? How then can any Conservative support Trump?

I hope you understand that just because you spout the usual mass of numbers that doesn't mean that "we all know".

No, no, no.  I care because the glass is much more than half full because half of the people who die directly from pollution will be liberals and many more liberals than conservatives will die indirectly from pollution by unnecessarily worrying about it.

Thank you for your clear and concise explanation for Republican environmental policy. Let me summarize - so long as Democrats die along with Republicans, GOPers have no problem poisoning Americans. Good to know.
