It is so woefully misinformed and ignorant on how international negotiations should be conducted that it is just... sad.     :- (

Now it may be that Billy Bob is not "hands on", President Trump is.

True - it is not the standard approach. Problem???

In the case under discussion - the Korean war has been going on well over a half century. Do you really think the standard approach has worked?

"Hands on"?  Yes, his fingerprints were all over this fiasco.

The question is - exactly what has trump bragged about grabbing and being "hands on" with?

There is an Access Hollywood recording that reveals just exactly in what manner trump has a history of being "hands on"...

tRump's casinos and multiple other bankruptcies and business failures also demonstrate the quality of his "hands on" performance...

He blames others for his myriad shortcomings...

He (tRump) is useless on top of the ground - he should be under it - inspiring the cabbages...

Yes, this was my point exactly.

And that Fox News seemed not to care to explore this line of inquiry, but instead revealed a new “truth” about walking away as though this was so profound.

The reason this happens so seldom at this level is that no other president would have even announced a summit until their negotiators had a firm deal on the table.

The only businesses where the CEO negotiates contracts is down at Billy Bob's Hardware.  Important countries have staff for that and the the leaders show up for the signing ceremony.

Can we "walk away from" the pettiness and understand that in negotiations sometimes "walking away is required for a successful, long-term outcome. Consider Reagan at Reykjavik.

The two don't compare.

The thing is, it was never "negotiations" to trump ............ it was just another show .......... seems most everything is to him, most especially his speeches to his moronic base.

The point was not anyone's ability to read minds or the childish, offensive "moronic base". It was the need for "walk away" as part of the total negotiation package.
