Apparently some seem to ignore most media.     Donald Trump admtted that he wanted to fire Comey...his spox then says he wants the investigation to be completed, but just the other day she said it had gone on long enough.    Her doublespeak is mindblowing.    Meanwhile Pence-boy is still selling the company lie about FBI firing - after, yes AFTER Donald had said that he was responsible for the firing of the person incharge of the investigation into Trump Campaign and Transition team relationships with Russia.

Do these people read or listen to anything other than Breitbart or Fox....?

Now, (as witnessed by our posters of a leftward persuasion) the "Party Line" is that Comey is a victim.

It must be hard to have to follow the marching orders rather than making up your own minds as we non-communal thinkers of the right do.

Although I realize that the name calling in this message board goes ramparnt. did you have to copy it?
Now the Democrats are Neo-Marxists,? that is as bad a Der Trumper and all the other names that posters cannot help themselves. in posting.
Please, is there a chance of seeing discussions that have merit instaed of a partisan opinion? Is Objectivity dead?

I appreciate your double posting my words of wisdom. I don't know if others will share our view of their being worthy of double posting. In any case - thanks.

NeoMarxism or neoMarxists is not new, there was a lengthy topic dedicated to that concept. If you missed it, you might want to go to it and read it.

"neo" is a prefix with meaning. Marxism is a political ideology that has been around, debated, adopted, defended and opposed for a century and a half.

Then we have "Der Trumper.......need I say more???

Well, if that is such a new name or ideology, why do you apply it to people that are Democrats by affiliation in this message board?  I personally don't care for communists, or their philosophy.

Anyone who thinks Comey's hatchet jobs on Hillary are the reason he was fired is demented or Republican.

Comey had asked for additional funding and support to investigate Der Trumper's Russia connections, so he was canned before he embarrassed Donny by charging him with Treason.

This "he mishandled the Hillary investigation" is 110 days too late to have the slightest shred of credibility, but the Trumpettes will swallow it anyway.

The Trumpettes don't recognize credibility .... or lack thereof in Trump's case. All they rely on is denial!

Interesting approach.

A factual approach.

Does that mean Comey did or did not cost Hillary the election.

Neither.

It means Trump supporters will believe anything Trump says, with no regard to his credibility, or lack thereof .... just as stated and not what you contrived into something else!

Does that mean we are still supposed to hate him like last week or is all forgiven?

I never said anything about hating Comey rk.

Again, you put your words into my posts!

RK-- that's funny, because the many Dems that I hear being interviewed are very concerned about the timing of the firing, and they certainly are'nt being quiet CNN).

Seems nobody is buying the story put out by the White House,  and that just might be because it keeps changing. And you want to know why, because it's all lies.   Trhump is worried he's going to get caught, and, trust me, he will.

Why should we be thanking a corrupt president who is doing everything in his power to obstruct  the law?   Maybe we should be thanking the press for covering  the president's cowardly actions and bringing his obviously obstructive actions to our attention, as well as  paying very close attention to what other underhanded things he is doing.

There is one scenario, though,  in which I would be very thankful to "your guy," and that would be if he were to stop lying, stop wasting  tax payer money, admit he doesn't have a clue with regard to  what he's doing,  and remove himself from office.

But,  of course, that will never happen because trump is the most narcissistic,  self -possessed perdon  that I believe I have ever witnessed. And so, looks like we'll just have to make sure that he is removed against his will.

At that point, I'm sure that we will all be grateful, Mr. Comey included.

Gee, I miss having a real President!!

Here’s a sampling of Republicans reacting to Trump firing the Director of the FBI (not left wing liberals)

Sen. Jeff Flake (Ariz.) “I’ve spent the last several hours trying to find an acceptable rationale for the timing of Comey’s firing. I just can’t do it.”

Rep. Barbara Comstock (Va.). “I can’t defend or explain tonight’s actions or timing of the firing of FBI Director James Comey. The FBI investigation into the Russian impact on the 2016 election must continue.”

Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) “While the President has the legal authority to remove the Director of the FBI, I am disappointed in the President’s decision to remove James B. Comey from office. James B. Comey is a man of honor and integrity, and he has led the FBI well in extraordinary circumstances.”

Rep. Carlos Curbelo (Fla.) “Today’s extraordinary decision raises many questions all of which must be answered. … It is critical that the FBI can continue all of its pending work with independence and integrity – especially the investigation into the Russian government’s efforts to influence our last election and undermine American democracy. Today I reiterate the need for Congress to establish a Select Committee with full investigatory powers to thoroughly examine this matter.”

Rep. Justin Amash (Mich.) “My staff and I are reviewing legislation to establish an independent commission on Russia. The second paragraph of this letter is bizarre.”

Sen. Ben Sasse (Neb.)Regardless of how you think Director Comey handled the unprecedented complexities of the 2016 election cycle, the timing of this firing is very troubling. … As the chairman of the Judiciary Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee, I have reached out to the Deputy Attorney General for clarity on his rationale for recommending this action.”

Sen. James Lankford (Okla.) “The issues that our law enforcement, intelligence community and congressional committees deal with each day are very sensitive and have life or death implications. Director Comey has been the public face representing thousands of committed law enforcement officers and civil servants within the intelligence community. In the days ahead, the American people need clarity and deserve an explanation for his immediate firing.”

Sen. Richard Burr (N.C.) “I am troubled by the timing and reasoning of Director Comey’s termination. I have found Director Comey to be a public servant of the highest order, and his dismissal further confuses an already difficult investigation by the Committee. In my interactions with the Director and with the Bureau under his leadership, he and the FBI have always been straightforward with our Committee.”

Ya gotta wonder there the Dems are, particularly Hillary. A week ago they blamed him for Hillary's loss and Trump's win. And now, silence. Like I said, ya gotta wonder.

Silence?  Perhaps seen that way for those who deny the obvious.

There never was any silence as you fallaciously accuse rk. The Russian interference helping Trump to win the election has been in the forefront consistently.

Alternately, since the election, several of our posters have been really down on Comey. Why are they not saying, "Thank you Mr. President"?

A "Thank you" for stopping the investigations into Russian interference with our elections would constitute a treasonous activity rk.

Because Trump is more concerned about Russia than his own country doesn't mean that we all should participate in this betrayal of our own country rk!.

I do  agree that the thinking of Karl Marx had a much better reception among the commune living, banana peel smoking hippies of old. And some of them grew older - grew up is subject to discussion.
But to cut to the bottom line, does no one see any merit in the thinking of Marx? Or is it simply a case of being afraid to admit it?
