He also was very critical of President Obama for " executive over reach, surely every one recalls this, right? Yet, he is doing the exact same thing!

The word hypocrisy comes to mind. OOOPS!!!!

Doesn't every President use the Presidential platform for "political" purposes, to pass legislature etc and push their beliefs and own agendas?

The difference, imo, is the things owebama did made the people in this country suffer.  Quite the opposite from President Trump...he truly has proven that he is a President for the people of this country, i.e. his platform/belief and actions of America First.

Owebama and his cohorts are still pushing their insane "political" agendas, and he's no longer in office!

Who is Owebama and who are his cohorts?  What "insane 'political' agendas" are they pushing?

I don't consider the moron currently in office a president for me and I am a bona fide person of this country.  We won't even discuss the "suffering" currently going on for which the president made a big show (PHOTO OP!) of signing a couple of memos and declaring all is fixed.  (It's not.)

BTW, your president has no 2020 agenda or platform.  If you're in on the big secret, maybe you can share.

And within playing with the election, he is trying to turn reality into what he wants people to believe that what he says is true...but we know that trump does not represent reality, nor is anything that he says have any connection with the truth.

He’s playing politics, blurred the lines, and knows that in order to win, he will have to cheat and lie.

The problem is not just tRump but the entire Republican Caucus who enable him.

All must be removed from office if our Nation is to survive. If the GOPers suffer a tremendous defeat in 2020, they MIGHT try and stage a Revolution to keep power, but if THEY survive the election, it will be the National Guard in the Streets suppressing the vote in 2022.

The tremendous outpouring of support for Equal Justice sparked by the murder of George Floyd proved to the GOPerLords the general public is fed up with their systemic racism and ubiquitous drive to redistribute income and wealth from the middle to the top, so they know this is their last chance to establish the Corporate Oligarchy they've been seeking for the past 50 years.

If you think I'm exaggerating the danger we now face, ask yourself how long it took the Republican Ministry of Propaganda to make us think massive corruption in Government and big business is "just the way things are" and lose the sense of outrage when Government lies to us or some Corporation destroys our lives with their financial manipulations. Hitler never won a majority of the vote to take total control of the Nation,  and Republicans don't need to either.

Trump erased the election year line between politics and policy:

Watchdogs and admin from past administrations say he has shown unusual willingness to use his presidential platform for political purposes.

Nothing new here.

Presidents running for re-election have traditionally worked to balance official government business with campaign activity. But government watchdogs and officials from past administrations warn that Trump has smashed that norm, showing an unusual willingness to use his presidential platform for political purposes.

Trump's penchant for blurring the lines between his campaign and his official duties came to a head last week when he confirmed that he was considering giving his acceptance speech for the Republican presidential nomination — one of the most anticipated moments of the election season — from the White House South Lawn.

He also was very critical of President Obama for " executive over reach, surely every one recalls this, right? Yet, he is doing the exact same thing!

Trump's over reach.
