Trump campaign pulls back from television advertising

Trump’s new campaign manager, Bill Stepien, has been forced to cut advertising because the campaign has already spent (wasted?) a billion dollars and is trailing badly.  He is going to need cash for the last 30 days of the campaign and he can't cut staff or headquarters. Ads are all that is left.

Fearing a coming cash crunch, President Trump’s campaign has pulled back from television advertising over the last month, ceding to Democratic nominee Joe Biden a huge advantage in key states and sparking disagreements over strategy within the president’s senior team.

Republican officials have been inundated with calls from worried activists and donors who complain about constant Biden ads in their local media markets, with very few paid Trump responses, according to people familiar with the conversations. Some Republicans close to Trump have been baffled at the decision to sharply curb advertising and have told the president he should change course.

It's a Trump designed organization.  Of COURSE it is headed to bankruptcy.

From what I've read, the Trump campaign was like the Hall of Fame for grifters and they nearly sucked it dry............right under Trump's nose.

Usless Superbowl Ads that cost millions in January, right about the time Trump was being briefed on the Coronavirus.

For sure, that was a BIG and expensive miscalculation.

IMPOOPUS has claimed (and I say that word loosely and with a grain of salt) that he is willing to spend $100 million of his own money to shore up his campaign, but unlike Mr. I-have-plenty-of-money, Mike Bloomberg is putting his money where his mouth is and has committed to spending $100 million in FL to help Biden's campaign

Call or fold, Donnie?

Don’t worry about Trump’s campaign lacking money, he will just have to have many more campaign speeches ‘disguised’ as news conferences. How does it feel to have your taxes pay for Trump’s campaign activities?

It's just possible the legitimate media will simply not report on tRump's obvious disregard for the Constitution and basic decency. They're already demanding he answer their questions and refusing to take off their masks - Toad may find future such "news coverage" unsatisfactory and just call Fox & Frauds for a soapbox (and a chance to check out Ainsley Earhardt 's thighs on the couch like the rest of the GOPers who tune in)

Thats fine, he doesn't trust the media anyways.

Trump has 24/7 FREE advertising on Fox News ..... and he uses his Press Conferences as campaign rallies with his minions constantly praising him for his "tremendous leadership".  Nauseating bull excrement!!!

I saw about ten Biden ads on TV yesterday. Only two Trump ads, and one of those two was paid for by a PAC organization.

Biden has a variety of ads. Trump's ad was the same one that's played repeatedly -- "Your taxes will go up..."

I mentioned in another thread that in Virginia, I have seen many Biden ads, no IMPOOPUS ads.  Not complaining, but considering that VA always voted red in the presidential elections until 2008, I was surprised IMPOOPUS didn't try to win it back.  No money is a good reason as any. 😄

I do like that Biden isn't taking it for granted either.

Uh Oh .... Time for the Russians to funnel money to the Trump campaign through the NRA .... just like they did in 2016!

No doubt they're working on ways to 'funnel' money to him. Russia will do all it can do to try and keep the Red Toad in office.

Minor clarification:

The Good Germans at Deutsche Bank didn't actually FUND Donny Bonespurs Real Estate scams to the tune of AT LEAST $1.5Billion.

They used their Personal Wealth Management Division as a shill for Russian Oligarchs laundering at least $10 Billion that was looted from the Russian people after the USSR collapsed. None of it was DBs money, which is why they were willing to give it to the serial bankrupt-er of all he touched and obvious con man lil' donny tRump.

Now that all that's out in the open thanks to DBs conviction for money laundering, no way will they again soil themselves helping the Russian Oligarchs help tRump.

So that leaves those Oligarchs and their LeigeLord Vlad the Stumpy making a more direct contribution - count on huge increases in Russian disinformation being posted on social media which is already rife with the KGB's support for ToadPOTUS.
