It's good to see you off the fraudulent topic. Based on the above - are you in favor of secure borders? If so, how would you like to see them created?
The fraud is Trump - the topic is spot on.
We "secure" the borders by first removing the ILLEGAL status of hard working immigrants by giving all those with no violent crime convictions a Green Card, and putting their kids on a path to citizenship. Aid or abet new undocumented workers and they lose the green card and get deported.
Next we fine everyone employing the remaining criminal immigrants at least $10,000 per illegal, plus serious (over 1 year) jail time and give them 90 days to identify their illegals. Anything LESS for punishment of the employers will not outweigh the value of the uncomplaining slave labor they now enjoy from the undocumented workers they exploit.
Then as part of the deportation process, we determine if those illegals had been underpaid, and fine their employers for the back wages plus interest which we use to hire the transport back to their country of origin.
Now anyone who wants to slip across the border is free to do so with only the same enforcement we've gotten along with for decades, BUT they will NOT find a job and the "sea of 11 million illegals" the criminals can now "swim in undetected" is dried up - the honest people working here will turn in the crooks.
THEN we take the billions lil donny wnats to waste on his nincompoopery and install facial recognition and survalience TVs in every port of entry, public venue, government building, etc. and protect ourselves from the KNOWN terrorists who want to come her to harm us, not the poor brown people who want to come here and do the jobs we don't want.
O.K. we nail those 1%er Oligarchs who are GOPerlords and are in bed with Putin and force them to raise the salaries. Will that effect those "poor brown people"? Suppose poor white people show up for the jobs since the salary has increased?
And once you take all that money from those folks, some will go bankrupt and - there go the jobs. BUT we'd have all that money to ship those "poor brown people" back to those "blank-hole" nations they came from with all the violence and unemployment. Doesn't sound like you have done good stuff for those "poor brown people".
And the twisting continues .............
I pointed out that if you take all that money from the corporations they will not have the money to pay the new employees and if you make them raise the salaries, it is possible that other than those "poor brown people" will apply.
Do you agree, disagree or are just kudo shopping via insults?

It also did not work because the Concept was Morally and Ethically Corrupt - just like Trump Walls
This Border Wall is also a wonderful example of Classic American Arrogance - Americans think if they build it - it will work and No One Else in the World is smart enough to circumvent it's purpose
Americans are simply humans and like all humans - where there is a Will they will find a Way
The Berlin Wall worked because of the border guards who was authorized to kill. Even at that from August 1961 when it was constructed until it came down it's estimated that 5,000 people escaped through other means. That would average out to 178 per year. Not that many considering the the total population of East Berlin.
The Berlin Wall is no comparison to any other.
So in other words a wall on our southern border will not work without border guards who are authorized to kill. Surely we would never do that ................. so a wall is useless and a waste of money

For a moment, drop "Der Trumper" and the "lofos" and "Nazis" and stick with this - shall we have meaningful borders? If "yes" must they not be secure?

A child is dead and the Trump administration has shown no remorse. Instead, it deflected responsibility with cheap political talking points.
A seven-year-old Guatemalan girl named Jakelin Amei Rosmery Caal Maquin died last week in the custody of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Trump administration has chosen to blame the victim and her father for the death.
This is the nation Trump has created: A country that continues to dehumanize and criminalize Central American migrants without any sense of compassion or explanation for the root causes of why people are fleeing their countries in the first place.
Jakelin died from cardiac arrest caused by severe dehydration and shock a day after she and her father turned themselves in to CBP on the U.S.-Mexico border in New Mexico.
But according to the Trump administration, her death was her fault, and it was her dad’s fault — even though government officials confirmed that, after being held for several hours in a remote CBP station, Jakelin was put on a bus for 90 minutes to be transferred to a larger border station for processing before getting any emergency medical care for her symptoms, which included vomiting.
By the time the bus stopped, so had her breathing.
A child is dead and the current administration shows no remorse. Instead, just deflections about responsibility and cheap political talking points.
Never mind that “immediate care” didn’t really apply to Jakelin’s situation: The place where she and her father turned themselves into CBP had no medical care providers and, as the secretary noted, wasn't staffed to handle the 163 people who arrived that day.
And the idea that Border Patrol is some welcoming force when migrants surrender themselves to the agency is just not true.
For years, those who report on immigration enforcement know that detention conditions and methods along the U.S.-Mexico border have been poor.
Photos of the Anetlope Wells border station where Jakelin was held were made public by CBP, and these photos would suggest that conditions were not at all ideal: They essentially show an enclosed loading dock, filled with people. We may never know what they were actually like at the time she was held.
First you BLAST a headline from an op/ed piece written by an activist who writes for "Latino Rebels" as if it had validity. Then you colorfully repeat his words. And then you show a holding area for people who are not legally in the country as if they are supposed to be detained in comfort.
Do you do all that because you really hate America or do you just let your hatred for our President take you into strange places?
Again for the 45th time - you can not - MAIL IN - a Application for Asylum!
For the 46th time - they are not in the country legally, they are in custody - that is why they may be "in cages" (by enforcement not the President). If they attempt to storm the border rather than wait in line and start to throw rocks, they may "be gassed" (not by the President). And, if their fathers provide them with no food and no water for a dangerous period of time - they may die (not be killed by the President).
You have to actually be located on US Soil/Territory
You may apply for asylum in the United States regardless of your country of origin or your current immigration status. For more information about asylum status, see the Asylum section.
If you are eligible for asylum you may be permitted to remain in the United States. To apply for Asylum, file a Form I-589, Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal, within one year of your arrival to the United States. There is no fee to apply for asylum.
You may include your spouse and children who are in the United States on your application at the time you file or at any time until a final decision is made on your case. To include your child on your application, the child must be under 21 and unmarried. For more information see our Form I-589, Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal page.
VERY Important
To obtain asylum through the affirmative asylum process you must be physically present in the United States. You may apply for asylum status regardless of how you arrived in the United States or your current immigration status.
A defensive application for asylum occurs when you request asylum as a defense against removal from the U.S. For asylum processing to be defensive, you must be in removal proceedings in immigration court with the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
