President Donald Trump promised to address the homelessness issue in major California cities, as he traveled to the state for a series of political fundraisers.

He suggested the creation of an “individual task force” that would address the problem.

“The people of San Francisco are fed up, and the people of Los Angeles are fed up,” Trump said. “And we’re looking at it, and we’ll be doing something about it.”

The president spoke to reporters on Air Force One on the trip to California and confirmed that he would speak to Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson about the problem.

“We can’t let Los Angeles, San Francisco, and numerous other cities destroy themselves by allowing what’s happening,” Trump said.

He said that he spoke to foreign business investors in California who were so frustrated with the homelessness problem that they were ready to leave. He also expressed concerns about the spreading diseases in tent cities. A recent outbreak of Typhus in Los Angeles has also raised the alarm among residents.

“Our policeman that are on the beat are getting sick. They’re actually sick,” Trump said. “They’re going to the hospital. We can’t let that happen.”

Reports last week noted that the president was looking at a number of options to deal with the problem, including possibly invoking the National Emergencies Act of 1976 to declare an emergency or moving the homeless in Los Angeles to a FAA facility.

Well I posted on this about a week ago. Trump had his people looking at an old FAA building in the LA area that could be used as a camp for the homeless. The Govt Fed were going to round them up and put them there. I said then and now this is the test move to see if Dictator trump can just take people who are American Citizens off the streets and put them in his concentration camps. Trump did not talk to any city or state govt. in CA when he started this. Now he is ready  to put his plan in action. Why is anyone surprised Hitler did this. If he can do it have no fear there will be a place in the camps for everyone who degrees with him. It is sad to see this happening but Trump acts just as Hitler did, and so do his enablers. It is time for thinking Americans to wake up and pick up on what Trump does when it starts not when he wants to tell you about it through his enablers. Wake up people.

Oh, agreed but you don't put the biggest snowflake in the land in charge of fighting homelessness. And, why just California cities?

Sounds like Trump intends to create "Homeless Camps" using the model of immigrant dentention centers. What could possibly go wrong with that idea? Lol

Not to mention the fact that homeless people aren't bags of potatoes to be put in storage, they're humans with the same constitutional protections we all enjoy in spite of not having a permanent address. How does Trump have the authority to just move people wherever he wishes if they don't want to go?

I wish Trump luck on this one. California has a budget surplus in the double digit billions of dollars. If Trump can help the homeless more power to him.

So, since he screwed the pooch with Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, and North Korea, he thinks THIS is something where he can add value?  That is pretty funny.

Oh my dear God!  We can't allow the enforcers getting sick, but the homeless we can just cage them like the people seeking asylum????  Sick!!!

No worries about too much "religion" in our system of government.
