Trump Policies?

If one can not stand the ups and downs in the market they should not be in the market.

I am thankful that we have been in the market for over 50 years...it been a good ride...then there are the cry babies that expect the market to only go up.

Der Trumper has spent the past 22 months claiming HE was the reason for the Obama Recovery and demanded everyone consider the upward track of the DJA as an affirmation of the wonderfulness of Trump and Trumponomics.

Now that HIS administration is finally influencing the market, driving it down with Trade Wars, Afghani Wars, Border Wars and the continuing Republican Wars on Women, Education, The Poor, Minorities and Muslims have erased $3 trillion in gains made under President Obama, the bond interest inversion shows people are more concerned by the short term impact of Der Trumper than they are worrkieed about possible problems in the distant future, and we're still losing the Trade War he started.

He tried to steal the glory, now he can suck up the disaster.

Recession Signs Hard to Miss

Rolling 12-month returns, valuations point to profit decline

Pools of gloom await anyone looking for a message in stocks. There’s the $3 trillion in value erased, the bloodbath in banks and the trouncing in transports.

In wonkier circles, shrinking valuations and negative rolling returns have started to ring the recession bell. A relatively calm week in the Dow Jones Industrial Average just ended with a 495-point thud.

As of Friday’s close, the S&P 500 was down 11.3 percent from its September close, with more than half its constituents nursing bear-market losses of 20 percent of more.

The Nasdaq 100 has fallen 13.9 percent from its record close in August, while the Russell 2000 Index of small-cap stocks has lost 19 percent, leaving all three with declines for 2018.

To which we can add:

1. The bond interest inversion showing investors are more concerned about the immediate future than they are about the long run

2. Record farm bankruptcies.

3. A halt in the very brief rise in real income.

4. Millenials paying 30% of their income for student loans so they are not buying houses OR cars.

5. Trump's Trade War driving thousands of jobs overseas

6. No end in sight for jrbush's Wars for Oil and ???

7. Global Warming continuing to increase the intensity of storms and their cost.

8. Trump's coal policy killing an ADDITIONAL 1,400 Americans each year.

9. A Senate still dedicated to doing NOTHING

10. Trump.
