Under no possible contortion of the law can you get "seeking and accepting material from a hostile foreign Government for the purpose of influencing an election in the United States" - which is what happened at the Trump Tower meeting and all thru the election - to be seen as "operations research".

This is a prime example of how Trump and the Trumpettes distort the truth and disquise their crimes - semantics. The fact his base, around 22% of the voting public, will ALWAYS enable Der Trumper by accepting the most flimsy and absurd excuse for anything he does or says is what keeps him doing what he does - enrich himself at the expense of our Nation.

Disarm the enablers - VOTE OUT THE NRAGOP IN NOVEMBER!

The last thing our Nation needs is a Congress filled with "yes men" for a psychopathic personality like Der Trumper.

Well now, there ya go. Members of the campaign did meet with the lobbyist who was granted special entry to the country by the Obama Administration. So, based on your theory, Mueller can make his report, fold up his tent and steal quietly off into the night

You defined Putin's past very well and I have no doubt that you are right that he wants to continue the attacks on us. Such as the activities of the left wing bots doing his bidding who constantly try to divide us and thereby weaken us as a nation. You've got some of it right, but it's the right-wing bots who have divided the country with their racist hatred, their cultural bigotry and misogynistic behavior.  When you wake up, check out how well trump is doing with minorities and women.  And why is that?  It's obvious to most trump caters to white males.....like yourself!

I am to the right, More like the far right based on the content of your posts. I express my vision (which I've had for many, many moons) without any guidance from anyone. Not fully accurate. With significant "guidance" from Limbaugh....  I am aware of no racial hatred associated with Conservative thinking. So?  Because you choose to ignore the negative aspects of the far-right has no value. I have no idea what your cultural bigotry is all about.  That's OK.  And I do not exhibit misogynistic behavior.  You support one who does, that's the point.  AND, the comments were about the person you support and embrace....nothing was said about you.

As to who President Trump "caters to" - that is the sticking point. He "caters" to people - not any particular people, just people. Wrong again!  He caters to the racists, the bigots, white males and those who embrace him.  He doesn't cater to me, to minorities, or women, all of which are people.  And for those obsessed with identity politics, that is a no-no.  You are the only when I've seen here with the obsession.

Now, on the other side - we have the "Resistance" committed to the stopping of the fulfillment of his promises by the President - and, they seem to have a real attachment to the word "impeachment". Well, assassination is illegal. When a posters says, "Trump Sucks" - is that not divisive? No, it is not.  Who is it divisive towards?  One person.  When a poster refers to the President as the "pig in the WH - is that not divisive?  No, it is not.  Who is it divisive towards?  One person.  Of course if one was in a cult, they may take it it a bit more personally.

And how about all this "white guilt" nonsense - is that not divisive? Far less so than the politicization of Tibbets' death. It separates us based on race. No, it dosn't.  All those pointing out the facts are white....it separates us from the racists which many prefer to be separated from.  How about assuming that anyone who voted for the President is part of some "cult" - hardly unifying.  Wrong again....no one assumes that; it's just those that are so loyal to him that they never address his atrocious behavior, his lack of decency, etc.  Like you saying he's "just punching back".....very lame excuse for the highest office in the land, in the greatest country in the world.  He's far beneath the privilege.

What has meeting with a lobbyist granted special entry to the country by the Obama Administration say about "it all"?

It say's conspiracy with a foreign government to effect an election is illegal.

Are you referring to the lobbyist granted special entry permission by the Obama Administration?

I'm referring to the trumps campaign meeting with FIVE Russians in trump Tower.  Your straw argument has no relevance, as usual.  But thanks for asking......

I'm not sure what straw you are referring to. I am talking about the meeting with the Russian lobbyist admitted to the country by the Obama Administration. It was supposedly to get "opposition research", she switched to adoption, they walked. Are you talking about the same meeting??

You are most welcome.......
