It's called editorializing!  Confusing?  Conservatives, especially those posting Fake News, do it all the time.

Well it's not like Funding the US Government was a Pop Quiz this year

What has the GOP Majority in Both Houses of Congress along with Trump been doing

They sure haven't been busy passing Legislation

Putting together a funding plan is their Job

Should Jesus be Taking the Wheel on this part of Trump & the GOP Government Responsibilities too -  along with everything else

We went through this same thing all last year

It doesnt bother you folks that the US Government - the people you elect to represent you - to manage the Government - dont actually do anything?

You can nit-pic about the title of the topic but you can't deny the truth of it.

Congress averts shutdown, postponing fight over Trump’s wall

Congress steered clear of a shutdown Thursday, but the parties are no closer to resolving the battle over President Donald Trump's wall as Democratic leaders prepare to meet with Trump next week.

Both houses of Congress passed a continuing resolution on Thursday to push the government shutdown deadline to Dec. 21.

The big picture: The shutdown standoff — originally set for this week — was delayed after the death of former President George H.W. Bush. Democrats are still refusing to give Trump the $5 billion he wants for his border wall, though Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has reportedly offered the president $1.6 billion for border security — a move that prompted backlash from many progressives. A meeting between Trump, Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has also been delayed until next week
