"the insane list of threads" is a rather ambiguous term. We have had posts from the Washington Times which have been attacked based on a poster's religious bias. We have had items from the President's Press Secretary attacked based on ..... well, based on the fact that she works for the President. Bretbart is, of course, another target. So, are they Russian Trolls??

On the other side of the street we have had posts from the SPLC, the Socialist World web site, Soros sources and we have had a stream of anti-police postings - are they Russian Trolls?

Remember, it is the intention of the cyber war to weaken us as a nation through divisiveness. Divisiveness is a two edged sword.

Unfortunately, the cyber war is real. Some assist it by using "Russian troll" like they used to use alt-right - just a meaningless insult.

I was going to go into the geopolitical answer, but its too complicated for you and would require you to do some research...im not doing it again for a Russian Troll. Russian Trolls ARE the alt right,  the rebranded and repackaged neo nazi..not yer Dads ol Heil Hitler but Heil to a new white nationalist world order. Russian Nationalism was always a componnent of the USSR, and now under Putin its on full display. His mouthpieces are all over, using the very freedoms of the constitution against the DECENT citizens.

gud point - dont go for a real answer, that might be discussion - just type russion troll, nazi, hitler, white nationalists. how typical of the "ever so smart" left. very much in keeping with the distuptive intent of the russian bots everyone is posting about.

Tell us what you would do with the Russian BOTS

Yes Sir or Ma'am:

1. Understand that they represent an attack on America and, as such, we should be united in opposing them;

2. Beyond that, it is a task for the techies in the intel agencies who spend their days bouncing bits and bytes off each other.

You've got it wrong.

CPAC never accused the FBI of being "America's number one enemy" when they were investigating Hillary prior to the election. Now that the FBI is on track to investigate trump and associates, CPAC now says that the FBI is America's number one enemy. So it goes

I think anyone not taking seriously the Russian investigations and what they have found so far are just plain ignorant or just completely partisan and will accept anything that trump and/or his campaign members and administration do ........... including conspiring with the Russians to get trump into the White House.

You see .................. nothing to do with "Nazi, Fascist, Kluxer, Alt-Right, Russian agent, bot, trol, etc.

CPAC sure appears to be Russian agent - troll - bot infested and influenced - every bit as much as liddle donnie obviously is...

So wrong in so many ways. Progressives use "AltRight" to identify the new fascists who seek to destroy democracy because that's what the Alt Right is. Russian Troll is also accurate for those in the Republican Party who welcomed and retweeted all the KGB/FSB PsyOps attacks on Hillary AND their support for Bernie and the Greens who didn't take a single vote from Der Trumper.

While it SHOULD be insulting to be associated with any group dedicated to destroying Democracy, the neoRepublicans take it as a badge of honor that they are advancing their agenda of anti-women, anti-labor, anti-gay, anti-muslim, anti-immigrant, anti-black and anti-American legislation. Pointing out their joy in what they do is hardly insulting, but it IS revealing, and that sort of "sunshine" is one thing the NRAGOP cannot survive.

@CriticalThinking—The  trolling is obvious as is the propaganda. These trolls need to move on to people who are as stupid, ignorant, and ridiculous as are they, as it is certain they will get nothing here but pushback with regard to their idiotic claims.

 You’ve got to be really,  really stupid to believe anything these trolls put out there. Not only is the material inane, a toddler could see through the ridiculousness of these posts.

Gee, I miss having a real president!
