Friedman said in an op-ed published Wednesday afternoon that if the media emphasize Trump's personality instead of news about the strong economy, it may discourage enough GOP voters from continuing to support the president and benefit Democrats.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That is typical of the media ... and many on this board...emphasize the negative and eliminate the positive.

TRUMP THE CHUMP needs no help emphasizing the negative. It's not the media.

Whenever he has a positive story come out about him; he buries that story in a TWEET so disgusting that the TWEET becomes the news.

But I would take anything printed in THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER with a grain of salt. After all, it is a web site that used to be a TABLOID that went "BELLY UP".

Many of its employees were "appropriated" from THE WASHINGTON TIMES; the mouthpiece for THE MOONIE CULT, a cult that has ruined many a family and savings account. The employees at THE WASHINGTON TIMES were, many times, programmed MOONIE members themselves; therefore, many in the employ of THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER still owe allegiance to the cult.

But again, TRUMP THE CHUMP needs no help in changing the news cycle for the worse; he's done it scores of times.

Does that mean that Friedman did not propose what was posted? Do you have any thoughts on his vision of the role of the media?

Does that mean you didn’t read what Friedman said or that you didn’t understand it?

Neither. It is questioning a poster seemingly more interested in the source than the content.

Some - ever since the Surrender at Helsinki - question the nature and degree of trump's loyalty to country, as well as the nature and degree of loyalty to country of those who support trump - that is a similar questioning of motivation - is it not?

Liberal New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman said the news media should work together and saturate the public with negative coverage of President Trump in order to erode his popularity among Republican voters.

Friedman said in an op-ed published Wednesday afternoon that if the media emphasize Trump's personality instead of news about the strong economy, it may discourage enough GOP voters from continuing to support the president and benefit Democrats.

Why shouldn't the media report what the President says and does?

That is not what Friedman proposed.

That is exactly what Friedman suggested.

Are you questioning, "Liberal New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman said the news media should work together and saturate the public with negative coverage of President Trump in order to erode his popularity among Republican voters"?

If so - what did he actually say?

As usual and, not surprisingly, was kudoed for it.

Provide Examples Please - If Trump says - You Need a Photo ID in the USA to Buy Groceries - what should the Media do with that - like you - they should try to make up some nonsense about Gorceries being Beer..............................

All the MSM Media I listen to - Quote Trump Verbatum - they don't lie about what he says - you don;t have to - most of it speaks for itself

You want them to give him Credit for what - Tax Breaks for the Rich - thats all he's done - everything else was destroying Laws already approved by the Representatives of the People

The Economy - Jobs - Stock Market - Black Unemplpyment - all imrpoving under Obama

The Media Should Work Together to Destroy Trump - it's called Self-presevation - Trump is the one Attacking the Media - the Media is on Defense - The Media has the Constitution on their Side not Trumps

You sound like all the Evangelicals & Religious Finatics I've ever heard - they want the Government to step in and pass Laws to make Parishoners do the things the Clergy can;t convince them to do in the Pulpit

There is No Law that says anyone has to get a Abortion - The Evangelicals and the other Religious Finatics cannot convince their Flock not to get Abortions so they want Politicians to do it for them with laws

There is No Law that says the News Media has to Make Up Positive Stuff about a President so you folks want one - thats crazy

You've already got Trump TV over at FOX - what do you care what the other MSM is broadcasting - according to you and Trump it's all Fake News anyway so what difference does it make -

Your Problem - you think Americans can;t make up their own minds - do their own research - you think the Media has a lot more power than they do

A majority of Americans voted against Trump because they knew what he was - he's showed them for 70 years

Would you care to address what Friedman said - nothing about Fox, abortions, church pulpits, stock market, black employment, tax breaks, or beer.

As usual, trump supporters miss the mark totally. Just watching an interview and Friedman and he says give him as much airtime as possible. Isn’t that what trump wants?

Looks like exposure and bright light will bring out the facts. We don’t like those that sell fear and are wanting to divide people.

Let’s watch him be the clown that he is!

Sounds a bit different.
