Remember it was Congress who voted  to     keep Obamacare and turned down repeal and replace. The only thing Trump did was to eliminated  the penalty for those who chose not to sign up for Obamacare.   The Democrats are the ones who have caused damage to  healthcare .If Trump gets a Republican Congress again (minus John McCain ) he should get a better health care plan  for everyone.

Wouldn`t the Medicare for All that Bernie and Warren are pushing, put you out of a job?

For one, collection agencies will lose business.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------That question was for LK152 who sells health insurance in the Cleveland area. Elizabeth Warren has stated her Medicare for All would cost 52 billion  over 10 years and  2 million people  would lose  their jobs. (but only the rich would be taxed more and no tax increase for the middle class) Bernie`s Medicare for All plan  would cost 32 billion  over 10 years and everyone would see a tax increase.

For one, collection agencies will lose business.

In the United States, health-care-driven bankruptcy continue to plague Americans.

Across the United States, thousands of people are jailed each year for failing to appear in court for unpaid bills.
More than half of the debt in collections stems from medical care.

CBS News reported on the story of Tres and Heather Biggs, a married couple from Coffeyville whose son Lane was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of five. Heather was simultaneously suffering from seizures caused by Lyme disease.

"Tres Biggs was working two jobs but they fell behind on their medical bills, then the unthinkable happened," CBS reported. "Tres Biggs went to jail for failing to appear in court for unpaid medical bills."
Tres told CBS in an interview that he was "scared to death" when he was arrested for the first time over unpaid medical debt in 2008.
"I'm a country kid—I had to strip down, get hosed, and put a jumpsuit on," said Tres. The Biggs family had accumulated over $70,000 in medical debt by 2012.

From Propublica:

Since the Affordable Care Act of 2010, prices for medical services have ballooned; insurers have nearly tripled deductibles — the amount a person pays before their coverage kicks in — and raised premiums and copays, as well. As a result, tens of millions of people without adequate coverage are expected to pay larger portions of their rising bills.

The sickest patients are often the most indebted, and they’re not exempt from arrest.
In Indiana, a cancer patient was hauled away from home in her pajamas in front of her three children; too weak to climb the stairs to the women’s area of the jail, she spent the night in a men’s mental health unit.

In Canada, it is unheard of for anyone to go bankrupt due to health care costs.

LK152 posted- I don't believe Bernie Sanders or Pete Buttigieg can defeat Trump in November. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I agree with you. The country doesn`t want a socialists for President and this country isn`t ready for a gay male President with a husband. This country is more open about this than most but imagine a gay President dealing with homophobic countries like Saudi Arabia and Russia etc . As far as Amy,she has to keep doing good on the debate stage and hope she doesn`t have any skeletons in the closet.

Lk152-posted. I strongly believe that Amy Klobuchar could do very well with suburban voters, especially women. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Amy did do a good job on last debate. Can she continue to do it again. Next debate should be a good test when all the other DEMS will have their knives out for her.  Off topic but would like to know-Wouldn`t the Medicare for All that Bernie and Warren are pushing, put you out of a job?

True. And that question was asked during a televised interview in Nevada.

But, Amy Klobuchar backed the Mexico - Canada - U.S. Trade Agreement (USMCA) which passed the Senate by a vote of 89-10.

I guess Mexican President Obrador's name didn't come up during the negotiations.

Perhaps members of Congress mostly let the lobbyists write the bill and they gave it their rubber-stamp of approval.

If it's not Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar is at the top of my list. She's a moderate, centrist who got elected in the state of Minnesota. She has common sense, she's smart, and she's everything Trump isn't.

That means she's not a pathological liar.

She doesn't surround herself with convicted felons.

She doesn't insult others 7 days a week.

She understands and respects the Constitution.

She supports the Rule of Law.

etc.

She doesn't even know who the president of Mexico is:

But she knows that trump and Putin are the president(s) in America.

As much as I like Amy Klobuchar, at this point, her chances look fairly slim. Texas votes on Super Tuesday, and Klobuchar is hardly a factor with polling at around 4%. Meanwhile, Biden has seen his substantial lead give way to Bloomberg who is polling about even with him now. Warren had a early ground game going, but she has peaked, and Sanders has picked off most of her support. Buttegieg edged up to around 9%, but he's never been out of single digits. Presently, it looks like a 3-way split with Biden, Bloomberg, and Sanders. Texas will split delegates by %. But politics is like the weather, it can change rather quickly around here. If Amy's going to make a move, it needs to happen rather quickly.

Oh, and Trump isn't as popular among Texans as he used to be. He's around 48% in a very red state. He had been around 53%. That means Bloomberg must be picking off some "Trump moderates" or Independents, as well. (Independents can vote in either primary, if they so choose, but often sit it out.)

Texans like the economy. It's really good here, relatively speaking. Bloomberg may be a favorable option because he isn't seen as a threat to the economy. That will appeal to a lot of Texas moderates whose first priority is to maintain the economy, but view Trump as a loose cannon, and Sanders as a non-starter. Texans also like a winner, and Biden isn't looking like a winner. Bloomberg is.

It's interesting that the nominee of the D-party may well turn out to be a non-Democrat with either Sanders or Bloomberg at the top of the ticket.
