That's all true. Also, the Republican party  under Trump is busy putting out the "you're not welcome" sign to every demographic but old white men. Not a good omen for the future of any party.

Improving the economy, increasing jobs, strengthen our borders, improving our economic situation with other nations, etc - seems like these should appeal to Americans regardless of their age, gender or race (the obsessions of the left).

For example, in another thread, , you introduced, in a meme, a huge piece of disinformation in the form of he statement:

"BUT THEY WANT TO LET THOUSANDS OF SYRIAN REFUGEES INTO THE COUNTRY WITH NO VETTING PROCESS WHATSOEVER."

And there are the key words - what of the unending series of posts with stats, insults, and accusations makes "want to" a BLATANT lie?

PanJ said, " the Republican party  under Trump is busy putting out the "you're not welcome" sign to every demographic but old white men. Not a good omen for the future of any party."

I'm going to modify her comments. Old White Men & Women

PanJ, whenever I watch a Trump rally, it's packed with just as many old white women as old white men. Obviously the women don't care that Trump verbally and physically abuses women. Apparently they have no self respect. It's just like all Trump Cult members who never complain about his pathological lying and non-stop insults.

They may have a point. I doubt the Democratic party will disband any more than I think the GOP will disband after Trump leaves office although that is a better possibility.   The problem Democrats have today is too much enthusiasm and a rush to try  different ideas.  Across the nation, young people of all races are showing up in  the "consolidated campaign" headquarters to volunteer. Then, they are reaching out through their social media to contact other, like minded, young people who also show up. For Dems, this is the good part.

However, they start asking why the party has moved so slowly on issues like universal health care, immigration reform, higher minimum wages, homelessness, and infrastructure. The answer is that the Democratic party is trying to stay centrist but these kids see America becoming a worse place to live relative to the rest of the developed world,  They want to unleash their energy and their social media skills to stop the slide using policies proved by other countries.

I can't see a third party but the Sanders wing of the Democratic party is getting strength from these people just as the Republican party is losing dedicated people because of Trump.

@Soosie, I am glad to see that you follow your own advice.

When some others responded with posts composed of LARGE letters, not CAPITAL letters, you followed your process described above to the "t". You recognized that the meme's statement was a total flop and you scraped the plan, and put another in place.... writing a post " WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME?" thus changing the direction of the thread.

Of course, no one was yelling at you. I introduced a valid question; asking you to authenticate the Meme's statement and what did you do.... but follow your own advice again. When unable to authenticate anything about the above DISINFORMATION statement you made through the posting of the Meme; you once again, scraped the plan, and put another in place.

This time the new plan was to NOT RESPOND at all.

So you introduced a TOTALLY FALSE chunk of DISINFORMATION, changed direction twice when challenged on its validity, and then never responded.

One can never carry on a legitimate debate when others only introduce DISINFORMATION and then don't respond to the requests for authentication.

This comment is not off topic as I am addressing the comment you made above. I am actually congratulating you for following your own process, even though it applied to the introduction of DISINFORMATION by you.

@Jim, I am seeing the shift all over social media. No one can run on "Hate Trump" and "Love illegals." AND, this comes following Billary. I was taught in business to activate a plan, evaluate the ongoing results, make adjustments. If the plan is a total flop, scrap the plan, tweek or put another in place, and in some cases look for another job. I see a likeness in this except people who are still in this mindset still think hating those who can help them are their enemy. Makes no sense and I find it hard to believe there are people like this.

The creator of a social media campaign urging liberals to detach themselves from the Democratic Party said that the future of the party is over.

Brandon Straka started the "#WalkAway Campaign," which shares video stories of people who decide to dissociate themselves from liberalism.

According to the movement's Facebook page, it's meant to "encourage and support those on the left to walk away from the divisive tenets."

Straka appeared on The Ingraham Angle Tuesday and said that negative rhetoric spoken by the left and intolerance it has shown has been a big reason as to why he's walked away.

"What do these people stand for? What is there platform? All I can figure out so far is 'We hate Trump' and 'We love illegal immigrants,'" Straka said.

Straka said that his campaign is proving that politicians like the self-proclaimed socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) are the reasons why people are leacing the Democratic party.

DNC Chairman Tom Perez gave Ocasio-Cortez high praise on Tuesday, dubbing her "the future of our party."

"Their party has no future, it's over," Straka said in response.

The one reason Straka was initially a Democrat was because he is gay.

"I think that if you're a minority in America ... there's sort of this assumption that you are not wanted on the right," he said.

He added that he believes the left takes minorities for granted and makes people feel that President Trump's administration is looking to "hurt" them.

"If you're a minority, you have a choice," he said.

Really slow night and this is really reaching. Go listen to the guy, and look at his facebook page. They have no program except walk away and become right. Now there are people who do that we have one person in these forms that I know of who could or might be in this group. At one time he made a lot of sense and stood for something, but now it is nonsense. That mode seems to fit the founder of this group. Watch it and you will see how silly the support is, and only a very uneducated person would fall for it.

Let me add to my 4th of July thoughts. I just read a book on the place where I grew up. It was around long before we became a country. When they tell stories of some of the founders, and movers and shakers around the time of the Revolution there is a notation on some. They supported the Tories during he war. It then tells what happened to them after the war. Most lost their property, and wealth. There was one who renounced the Tories and went on to be a leader in the State. Just think our     far right enablers could fall into the same class in future years. I wounder what it is like not to be able to enjoy this holiday?
