WOW....that shows you do not have a clue about what I posted about Obama...more hate and false news from the left.

I got exactly why you started this thread. You spent 8 years hating Obama and you just cannot let it go.

You should try to let go of your hatred and try to look at the last 8 years objectively.

No kid, this thread is about the untruthful and misleading accusations about President Obama and his wonderful accomplishments.

To not speak about the dismal and destructive performance of your so-called president, would be an injustice to all as he is purposely trying to dismantle all the good things that Mr. Obama did for this country.

Mr. Obama was held in the highest regard world wide while in office, is still praised and held in high regard around the world, and will always be held in high regard.

The idiot in chief was being laughed at prior to the election, is being laughed at by all nations now, and will always always be thought of as an incompetent buffoon.

With regard to this thread, when the clear intent of this thread is to demean Mr. Obama while anyone with a set of ears and a pair of eyes can see that it is the buffoon in the White House who is dismantling all the good things he did, it would be ridiculous not to bring the dangerously inept trump into the conversation.

==========================

You just do not get it.

Again..

Sorry that you can not accept the truth about Obama ... that is what this thread is about.

One year ago, Barack Obama's presidency came to an end. His election as the nation's first black president was a major accomplishment for him and for the nation. Time will never erase that achievement.

But as time passes, this may be just about his only lasting political accomplishment; his legislative, regulatory and policy initiatives are disappearing rapidly.

////////////////////////////////////

I like Obama and he has done good things. This thread is about things he did that did not turn out as sold by Obama.

Some of us can be objective some can not accept what has happened.

PS Trump will be judged after he leaves office. Your name calling shows that you do not want to be objective...that is telling and NOT a good thing if you want to taken seriously..just saying.

Gee. I wish posters could stay on the subject of a thread.

Gee, I miss having posters that instead of their hate could be at least a little bet objective.

Republicans and the right wing trump cultists can put out all the ridiculous and laughable propaganda they want about how bad a president Obama was for this nation.

And they might even convince the totally brain dead that this is correct, however, one can never erase the fact that our country did not go through a major economic depression because of the economic acuity of Mr. Obama.

All I see is a bunch of ignorant non- intellectuals who have no understanding of history or economics or how the world in general works, swallowing a multiplicity of lies and half truths and outrageous conspiracy theories by those who try to manipulate them in efforts to promote their own self-interests.

On domestic policy:

- Energy: The Keystone XL Pipeline has been approved. The Dakota Access Pipeline has been approved and is operational. U.S. energy production is up, and gas prices are down. Deep Obama administration reductions in offshore drilling leases are in the process of being reversed.

- Education: The Obama Education Department's Title IX "guidance" to colleges and universities mandating how to treat sexual assault cases has been rescinded. Numerous Education Department programs begun in the Obama administration are being terminated.

- Environment: The Obama EPA's Clean Power Plan to regulate carbon dioxide as a pollutant, the implementation of which was already blocked by the Supreme Court, has been rescinded.

- Labor: The Obama-controlled National Labor Relations Board rule treating franchise chains as single employers for the purpose of collective bargaining has been repealed.

- National parks: Obama's vast additions to U.S. national monuments in Utah have been rescinded.

- Internet: Net neutrality has been repealed.

- Immigration: The Obama executive order on Deferred Action Against Parents of Americans, which was blocked by a federal court, has been rescinded. His Executive order on Deferred Action Against Childhood Arrivals has been rescinded, awaiting potential congressional action.

- Health care: Obamacare has been significantly modified by regulations to allow new, less costly forms of health insurance and by the repeal of the individual mandate. Additional regulatory changes are coming this year. As the health exchanges continue to shrink, the principal impact of Obamacare will be the expansion of Medicaid enrollment.

- Consumer protection: The structure of the Obama-era Consumer Financial Protection Agency has been ruled unconstitutional by the District of Columbia Circuit Court because it is unanswerable to any elected government official. The CFPB is facing additional legal and legislative challenges.

- Economy: The economic recovery beginning in 2009 produced historically slow economic growth, a declining labor participation rate, stagnant wages and increasing food stamp usage. Today's economy is growing more rapidly, the labor participation rate is up, wages are beginning to rise, and food stamp usage is down.

On foreign policy:

- Military: Reductions in military spending and U.S. troop levels are being reversed.

- ISIS: Changes to the Obama rules of engagement for using military force led to the rapid defeat of ISIS.

- Environment: The United States has announced its intent to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.

- Trade: The United States declined to join the Trans-Pacific Trade Partnership.

- Iran nuclear deal: The president has declined to certify the Iran nuclear agreement, which the Obama administration negotiated, setting the stage for withdrawal or modification.

- Syria: The president has used military force to enforce Obama's "red line" against Syria's use of chemical weapons.

- Ukraine: U.S. policy toward Ukraine is changing; the U.S. will now send lethal weapons to assist Ukraine in resisting Russian aggression.

- Cuba: Obama's opening to Cuba has been put on hold.

- Israel: The United States and Israel have restored their historically close relationship.

- Egypt: The flirtation with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has been replaced by U.S. support for Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi.

Overall, with the exception of a shrinking Obamacare and the CFPB, no significant initiative of the Obama administration remains in place. The near doubling of the federal debt during his eight-year presidency — from $10 trillion to $19 trillion — seems like a very high price to pay for such ephemeral results.

The Obama presidency is vanishing before our eyes. In only 12 short months, the legacy of Obama's presidency is best captured by the motto of a well-known disaster restoration company: "like it never even happened."

Not a very good legacy for Mr Obama...nice guy..not so good a President.

What you have done is show us how Trump in one year has done more to destroy this country than any other President.  You have also listed things Trump had nothing to do with. Take Keystone pipeline. That has been in operation for years now. The part you talk about is where oil is moved to Texas to be shipped overseas. That part does not pay into the cleanup fund for oil spills so if it breaks Taxpayers pay. Well I forgot  Trump is doing away with that fund totally so all spills will be paid for by the Taxpayers. The oil Cos. are free from expense. The clean power Plan is still in effect in most states. In my State the power cos. are still using it, and have said they will not stop as it makes good sense. 2 coal plants closed the end of 2017 as planned. On National Parks the Utah problem is in court. Native American Tribes are fighting the cut. The cut was made for white rich ranchers, and yes it is not far from where I live. We want it left alone, and in time it will be. Net N is being looked at by Congress as even GOP members seem to want to fight that. On health care the cost will increase and in time it will be back as you have to have all Insured for cheapest rates. Same as auto insurance that is why it is required in states. On ISIS they were defeated in Iraq after Iran came into the picture, and we started to work with Iran. In Syria the major change came after Russia entered, and teamed up with Turkey to come up with a plan. We still supply air and ground support but do not do all the planing.

What is appearing before our eyes is the ending of the US as a world power as our mentally impaired President moves forwarded to destroy this country and become its first dictator.

All your post shows is that the Republicans and the current President couldn't care less about this country but just want to eliminate all the good of the past so they can continue to boast to their ignorant base that Obama never did anything for this country.

I think I will believe the historians who have studied Presidents for years and rate President Obama in the top third of the best Presidents over the hateful right.

Man, what a difference between a class act like him and the Liar and Chief.

  • Under President Obama,  the value of the stock market more than tripled
  • Under President Obama, the unemployment rate was cut almost in half
  • Under President Obama, we had record job growth. I'm doing this out of memory, but almost 14 consecutive quarters of job growth
  • Brought health insurance to millions of Americans who didn't have it before and change many key components of health insurance, such as no penalty for pre-existing conditions.
  • GM and Chrysler were saved
  • Our banking industry was saved
  • Corporations were earning record profits
  • Killing hundreds of terrorist leaders, including Bin Laden
  • Killing more than 2/3 of ISIS members
  • The housing market was saved and rejuvenated
  • Our standing in the world was never higher
  • The crime rate was at its lowest level in years
