Project veritas? C'mon they make FOX look honest!

Be interesting to know HOW Greg Coppola determined Google was biased toward DEMOCRATIC opinions and not simply seeking out the most reliable information. He never gets around to the "how" and instead makes a totally unsupported accusation that will warm the hearts spleens of GOPerLords who used the Russians in 2016 to spread the same unsupported and mallicious LIES about who was manipulating who.

Just as with the actual news media, telling the Truth on the internet will always seem "in opposition to Republicans" simply because GOPers live by the LIE.

DID Greg Coppola claim that Google was biased? Everything from Project Veritas is more fiction than fact. Their videos are so edited that it is more likely that the interviewee said just the opposite of what is claimed or never said anything about what is claimed.

Much has been written about this problem recently:   The newish name:  Surveillence Capitalism.  https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2019/jan/20/shoshana-zuboff-age-of-surveillance-capitalism-go...

    https://citizenlab.ca/2018/09/hide-and-seek-tracking-nso-groups-pegasus-spyware-to-operations-in-45-...

FWIW, with the current WH regime focusing on profits not people and the measely fine that the FTC just handed FB, this will more likely get worse before better.

The problem with too much use on our tech privacy?!

Hello...I've been saying this for far too long! When will the government care about our individual privacy when it comes to the whole new "paper saving" "faster and more efficient" use of today's technology?  What happened to industries having to respect our 4th Amendment?

https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2019/07/as-russian-faceapp-gobbles-up-user-photos-schumer-asks-f...

ARSTECHNICA - July 18, 2019 - " As Russian "FaceApp" gobbles up user photos, Schumer asks FBI to investigate"

I'm sorry, but WE should have had this whole situation of "terms of agreements" in order to use this technology BEFORE it is now discovered how damaging it can be.  Oh I do realize that it only matters when "politics" are involved.  They just give the whole tech industry a nod because of all the PROFITS?! Yes, this industry is much needed and useful, but it also needs to have some limitations/regulations for our own protection, no?
