Well then, we should call 1-888-OUR-AARP and tell them they should be more vocal in fighting this tooth and nail.

Re: The Winners and losers in the GOP tax plan
Next November we'll be able to reward those 12 and eliminate the vermin who voted to expand the robbery of the Middle Class that has been the Republican agenda since the Reagan Taxscam began the redistribution of wealth from the middle to the very top.
So wingers, how do you account for ALL the gains in real wages going to the top 20% for the last 30 years? Are they all Makers with great intellect and business savvy, OR are they occupying positions given them because they willingly participate in the redistribution?

Re: The Winners and losers in the GOP tax plan
The fraud perpetrated on the American people will help the rich. For others, save what money you can— individual premiums will now go up with regard to health insurance, the deficit will be paid on the backs of poor and middle class Americans, and what the Republicans said will be “given” on one hand, will be taken away on the other—unless you are big business and/or rich—and then you will do well.
People doing well—felon trump, many of the Republican reps. who voted to increase their bottom line, ignoring the needs of their constituents in the name of greed, and big business.
Losers—- poor and middle class Americans—
BUT
THE BIGGEST LOSERS OF ALL
is the incredibly gullible and intellectually void base that has once again cheered on a bill that flies in the face of their own self-interest. Yup, they have lost money—but they have also lost any respect or credibility in their asinine support of this malevolent bill and the asinine fool behind it all.
Gee, I miss having a real president!

Twelve House Republicans voted against the middle-class-toxic tax bill: Twelve disciples of fiscal responsibility crying in the wilderness.

- The Sentate bill will remove a tax paid by 9,000,000 mostly lower middle class people who find Obamacare so bad that their head of household pays a tax instead of buying the absolute crap insurance Obama foisted on them, saving these households (who are not even on Obamacare so how can they kill it?) billions of dollars. CBO estimates (probably wrongly as with all its other healhcare-related estimates over the years) that another 10,000,000 people will come off the crap insurance (with their head of household presumably making other, better arrangements) if they are no longer forced to buy Obama's crap. The "34 million" in this comment is pure fake news.
The House bill allows tax exempt organizations to become politically active.
- Those tax exempt organizations are called churches. They are overwhelmingly leftist.
Both bills give 80% of the benefits (reduction in acutal taxes paid) to the top 10%.
- I assume the commenter is sneakingly referring to the absolute dollar value with the terminology, "reduction in acutal taxes paid." It's hard to tell because the comment appears in a run-on nonsense litany of all leftist lies about tax reform, most of which have nothing to do with each other. Still, he or she is probably right given that the lowest 50% pay no income tax at all now and that that percentage will grow to about 60%. So who else could get a "reduction in actual taxes paid" other than the people who are paying those taxes now? Just absurd.
Both bills reduce Government Revenues by $100Billion each year IF they absurd projections for economic growth actuall could happen. A more realistic estimate of the revenue loss is over $200Billion.
- So CBO/JCT estimates are good if they support a leftist position but "absurd" if they don't. By this same strained logic, using the commenter's numbers (source not given), an equally realistic option would be that the reform will actually totally pay for itself the way Medicare Part D did despite what the CBO/JCT estimated.
The loss in Federal Revenues will require massive cuts to Medicare and every other discretionary program at the Federal level. Either States will need to increase their taxes or the services provided by those descimated Federal programs will be lost for the 99%.
- "Massive" equals 2%-3% even if there were anything to this nonsense statement. The original CBO/JCT estimate, before dynamic scoring, was that Medicare would be cut 4%. With dynamic scoring the decrease in revenue is massively less so the sequester percentage is massively less even if pay-go applied... which it won't.
As for job creation, a meeting of CEOs was asked what they would do with the windfall from the Republican Corporate tax cut, and 10% said "invest to create more jobs" while 90% said "buy back outstanding stock"
- Since no source is given as usual, it's hard to comment on this. I doubt it is true because what meeting of CEOs would be so stupid to make this statement even if true?
Every paragraph is leftist nonsense, as indicated in the indents. It really amazes me that the leftists who have been preaching "tax the rich" for years are now going nuts that millionairres who can afford a mortgage principal over $500,000 and property taxes in excess of $10,000 will have to pay more in taxes. Go figure.
What you post is not true. Here is the perfect example of why a bad bill such as this passes because it is easy to fool people into thinking that is good when all the facts prove it is bad. Really sad.

You OK with the 1 trillion increase in the debt and just hope enough jobs are created? Where are the workers going to come from? Right now there are approx 6 million job openings and 6 million unemployed....create another 1 million jobs, where are they employees going to come from?
