So first it's reducing the birth rate to control CO 2 emissions?  Next it will be wiping out populations with extermination/genecide?

Wouldn't reducing carbon emissions be a more sane and humane approach?

I couldn't help but notice that in the provided link about educating women in reference to birth rates, they were all wearing Middle Eastern attire. What's up with that?

This one is easy. Stop producing so much CO2!  To do that, you cut down on all pollution and CO2 will also be cut back.

What is it about the RWNJs that they so love dirty air?

That is the point of the article, Rich. Educating women will reduce the production of CO2 more efficiently than any other means.

Why do you think that these scientists are RWNJs or love dirty air?

It's been a long time....but a lady who posted here regulary and who no longer does insisted that the world absolutely must curb the population increase world wide.  She was right of course.  The example furnished here is great because overpopulation is NOT a causal factor usually cited when it comes to global warming and climate change resulting from it.

The Brookings study does lay out compelling reasons why something  has to be done to rectify the way women are viewed, treated AND as a consequence educated...or not.  Next time you hear someone remark about women's place in society, say something nasty, something pointed, something insulting about their manhood. That might do it.  Who knows, 'the donald' may even get back into the Paris accords if he thinks his 'cajones' are on the line. He seems sensitive about that.

This assumes, of course, that you think that us are the problem.

A point for sure. but then we have religions that demand women be supressed, women are just babymakers, birth control is bad..men need education too, and religious leaders need to step up to the plate.

So it begins.
