The Lies Told by trump AND MANY of his Supporters

We have the loathsome trump AND many of his supporters distorting the truth, time and time again....

  • The trump birtherism scam;
  • Obamagate;
  • the "Deep State"
  • Pizzagate "pizza is a well-known code word for children"
  • Q is a high ranking official in the Federal Government;
  • trumps code name is "Q+';
  • JFK Jr is alive and helping trump;
  • The Media is fake;
  • Voter Fraud; (Google Greg Phillips)
  •  Sandy Hook Mass Murders were a hoax;
  • No named person has confirmed that trump has called the deceased solidiers in France, "losrs and suckers"

These are the lies perpetuated by trump AND his Cult.

Has anyone ever seen any of Trump's Cult members complain about his pathological lying?

Never.  It confuses them....they still think Obama lied when he said you can keep your Dr. when the ACA doesn't require docs to drop anyone!

@Centristsin2010

No secret that trump is using his followers, and they accept it...but delve a little deeper, do trump supporters enjoy being lied? Is their a deeper feeling that they are not worthy, and need to accept trump lying to them.

They always promote the same trump lies, over, over, and over...have they lost their capacity to think objectively?

  To my never ending amusement the Far Right appear to bring up the DISTRACTION gambit.   Apparently the 190,000 who have died in the US in the past 7-8 months is OKay with them, even though Donald knew the risk of the Virus / Pandemic...but he did nothing.   And here they are making excuses for him....wowzer.

Trump supporters will deny along with Trump that   he ever  called Vets losers or suckers.....they'll deny he mocked a disabled reporter during a rally caught on video....they'll deny he said those who supported the 2nd amendment ought to take down Hillary... that .he was joking when he spent 10 minutes suggesting using disinfectants INSIDE the body to get rid of the virus

The evangelicals already gave him sainthood . havine 5 kids with 3 different women...paying $130,000 to "Stormy" a  prostitute for her silence .  has incited violence during every rally about every twitter every speech...

Is this a GREAT country or WHAT ?

And "Human Scum" can become President of the United States and con so many with his lies and "scumness".  Does that make us great?  Not so much...

You will never find a loyal Trump supporter who complains about his never ending LIES. They appear to be perfectly fine with having a pathological liar as our president.

You're right, CeeTee.  IMO, that says far more about his supporters than it does trump.  We all knew what we were getting with trump...

Certainly we have to ask, who lives in reality and who is continually trying to shape their version of a distorted or untrue version of reality. We see that practiced so many times on this forum and in the news by trump enablers ...and to see a defense of trump and his continued trail of lies is to see a real lack of credibility.

Reality is acknowledging true events, not making up a false reality.
The truth is simple, lies are complex!

Infected 44,802,629
Medical Visits 20,731,323

Given this recurring annual widespread infection and medical visits - would it be reasonable to expect the healthcare industry, hospital organizations, state and local health clinics and agencies, and doctor's offices would have adequate masks, face shields, gowns, and overall PPE - as well as ventilators - in preparation for annual widespread infectious disease? Why were healthcare organizations out of the required PPE for their employees within 30 days of Covd infection when only around 50,000 people were infected? Why did we expect the Executive branch of government to be responsible for the healthcare industry's supply of PPE?

3.1.1. Government leadership

While all sectors of society are involved in pandemic preparedness and response, the national government is the natural leader for overall coordination and communication efforts. In its leadership role, the central government should:

  • identify, appoint, and lead the coordinating body for pandemic preparedness and response; enact or modify legislation and policies required to sustain and optimize pandemic preparedness, capacity development, and response efforts across all sectors;
  • prioritize and guide the allocation and targeting of resources to achieve the goals as outlined in a country's Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Plan;
  • provide additional resources for national pandemic preparedness, capacity development, and response measures; and
  • consider providing resources and technical assistance to countries experiencing outbreaks of influenza with pandemic potential.

Hope this helps your confusion.

(During the current flu season, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that there have been 39 million to 56 million flu illnesses and 24,000 to 62,000 flu deaths in the U.S., although that number is an estimate based on hospitalizations with flu symptoms, not based on actually counting up every person who has died of flu.)

The new coronavirus disease, COVID-19, has caused more than 1.4 million illnesses and 85,000 deaths in the U.S. as of May 14, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

Both COVID-19 and the flu are respiratory illnesses. But COVID-19 is not the flu. Research so far indicates that COVID-19 spreads more easily and has a higher death rate than the flu.

COVID-19 Can Wreck Your Heart, Even if You Haven’t Had Any Symptoms

We’ve also known for a while that some COVID-19 patients’ hearts are taking a beating, too—but over the past few weeks, the evidence has strengthened that cardiac damage can happen even among people who have never displayed symptoms of coronavirus infection. And these frightening findings help explain why college and professional sports leagues are proceeding with special caution as they make decisions about whether or not to play.

Fauci Warns of "Troublesome" Long-Term Effects of COVID-19 in Young People

Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said young people who are infected by the virus but otherwise healthy might be more likely to avoid hospitalization than older adults, “but do get sick and symptomatic enough to be in bed for a week or two or three and then get better, they clear the virus -- they have residual symptoms for weeks and sometimes months.”

He also said follow-up exams have revealed many young patients who have recovered from the coronavirus have developed heart conditions.

They “have a substantially high proportion of cardiovascular abnormalities, evidence of myocarditis by MRI and PET scans, evidence of emerging cardiomyopathies," Fauci said.

You do realize that this is not unique to the SARS-CoV-2 virus - there are many organisms that COULD cause this C-V condition.  Some are bacterial base; others viral.

Because the flu hitting us every year is not a pandemic that also requires the public to wear masks to try and protect others from a virus that kills far more in less time than the flu does. The White House was informed of the upcoming Covid -19 pandemic in November of last year by our own military intelligence, it was up to tRump as POTUS to prepare us for it. He dropped the ball, nt the medical facilities.

Maybe we should - other countries do -  it would also save lives especially since there are many who do not get a flu vaccination and then because some years the experts just miss the combination and the effectiveness rate of the vaccine goes down.

Maybe if we had built things like this (mask wearing / getting an annual flu shot) into our culture we would not have the backlash that we do now.

Are you seeing these polls about the number of people who say that they will not even take a Covid-19 vaccination at all?

Gail did bring up the aspect of vaccinations. We do have vaccines for the flu, and perhaps not for every variety, but this last year, I did get quad flu vaccine. Question though, how many people get a flu shot, and how many don’t?
And as far as the covid virus, we have no vaccine, and I think that people are very skeptical of a rushed vaccine. If there is one pushed for vaccinations before the end of this year, I will not be getting one.
But I will be getting a flu shot.

As for the normal or Quad flu vaccination - we do not do so well as a country -

CDC Flu Vaccination Coverage, United States, 2018–19 Influenza Season

An annual influenza (flu) vaccination is recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for all people 6 months and older who do not have contraindications to vaccination; vaccination is the primary way to prevent sickness and death caused by flu.

For Adults the rate is dismal and has been -  this includes those adults who HAVE to have the flu vaccination to keep their job like in hospitals, nursing homes, home care, etc.  As you can see, seniors do the best but even here but that is only because we actually TAKE the vaccine to those who are residents in senior facilities.   Minorities don't seem to partake of this important annual vaccination even though it is the MOST readily available.

So if people think that government can mandate mask wearing - then why not mandate the annual flu vaccination for everybody that does not have a medical condition preventing it.

Will we be mandating a Covid-19 vaccination??  I bet other countries will be mandating it.

I often hear about how blacks and other minorities have all these underlying heath conditions because they don't have access to healthcare - I think that is only part of the problem and this vaccine (flu) shows that there is something else going on -  maybe it is a trust issue or maybe it is just a caring issue -

Whatever the reason for this dismal participation rate, we are causing deaths every year for not getting it.

I also wonder how many people here are up to date on their pneumococcal vaccinations?  Do you even know the schedule for them including the booster?  There are still plenty of people who die each year from bacterial pneumonia - too bad.  The (2) pneumonia vaccines + the booster protects you from 36 different bacteria types of pneumonia.

Gail, would say that only 45-50% of the US populace got a flu shot...took a quick look at the article, did not see that figure.
Might have missed it.

And good point about the pneumonia vaccines...did get a booster earlier this year. It seems to be a very bad side effect of the virus.

Overall it was 45.3 % (est. from 2018 - 2019)

However keep in mind that

  • people over 65 bring this overall average UP since their est. participation rate was 68.1 % during the same period and
  • minorities - Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, American Indians, Alaskan Natives and other minorities - bring this overall average DOWN since they don't get the vaccine at the same level as White, only/non-hispanic.

Maybe BLM doesn't apply here ???

Asian countries have been wearing masks for years, especially in China, Japan, and Taiwan.  Not only to be courteous when feeling sick, but also for environmental concerns.  It is ingrained in their culture and has become a fashion accessory. Read more about this and other reasons for embracing a mask -- Not Just Coronavirus: Asians Have Worn Face Masks for Decades.

As far as the anti-vaxxers, I haven't seen the polls, but I can guess where that is going.  Probably those same people who proclaim we need to get out there and mingle so we can all develop herd immunity.

It isn't just the anti-vaxxers that makes our stats look so bad - people just don't take the time to get them or want them even those that are readily available like the annual flu shot which would save lives.

Was the healthcare industry responsible for HIV or Ebola?  The healthcare industry doesn't have the authority to enact the Defense Protection Act, only the POTUS does.  The healthcare industry only has so much capacity.  No?

Centrist, as you well know, that is just a tiny fraction of the lies repeatedly told in Trump World. But the really sad part is Trump's supporters NEVER complain about him lying to the American people every day. Centrist, what is wrong with them?

Honored Social Butterfly

CT - as to why tRump supporters ignore his lies, I've thought long and hard about this and the ONLY explanation is the Toad does his utmost to inflect great harm on poor non-white people, AND THAT'S ALL TRUMPETTES WANT FROM A PRESIDENT!

Consider:

WHO is his wall meant to keep out?

His tax reform eliminated the deduction for dependents, so every family with 2 or more kids PAYS MORE, and WHITES have the fewest kids of any ethnic group, so who's being harmed?

He praises Nazis, KKK and White Supremacists, and who suffers as those groups gain power and influence?

He demonizes those who protest AGAINST systemic racism and police brutality, and sends Federal Troops (or his private Nameless Gestapo) to attack protestors, and who is being harmed by what the protests are about?

His first official act in the Pandemic was an EO granting EMPLOYERS in food processing immunity from civil suits brought by their workers who contracted Covid because of working conditions. Who works in those plants?

Trumpettes are not stupid - they are RACIST! and everything he's done supports RACISM.
