If his self respect is greater than whatever perks the GOPerLords are providing his family (cushy do nothing jobs for big bucks) we may see the Gerrymander end in which case the 26% of registered voters who elect Republican SuperMajorities in the Statehouses and keep anything positive from happening on the National level will end and we can get on with returning America to where we were in 1980 with 96% of productivity gains going to the workers, best k-12 schools in the World, totally affordable college for all and no never ending Wars.

How did you get from "cushy do nothing jobs to gerrymandering to the Reagan tax cuts to war? That was quite an unhappy trip.

Think of it this way - the citizenship issue has to do wih citizenship  not race.

The voter id issue has to do with assuring that only qualified voters get to vote - not race.

Gerrymandering has been around for a long time and has to do (right or wrong) with the powers of the local "in 'Party - not race.

The maps have to do with population distribution - not race.

As always, the left sees everything through their prism of race.

Well here is something for you to explain. In MO. the new head of the State Health Dept is requiring women who want and will pay for their abortion to get an unneeded pelvic exam and then wait 3 days to get the abortion. When the women gets it part of the medical procedure at that clinic is a pelvic exam just prior to the procedure. The state ordered one has no medical value nor is it needed, so all it does is add to the cost. If the State can do this in abortions they can do something similar on other medical problems thus giving Govt. a say on what treatments we can get. I thought Reb. were against govt. control of health care? It looks like they want to replace our Dr. and tell  us what treatments we can have by govt. rules (not laws). The GOP has really changed. Are you  going to stand up to what they are doing.

We are a nation of laws, of course it is the government's responsibility to pass legislation that represents the will of the majority, regardless what the opinion of the GOP is.

WOMEN   have played a key role in the transition from authoritarianism to democracy.    When Republicans talk about women’s rights, I’m always amazed at their absurdity and ignorance.    Where in the GOP platform  is there anything that remotely seems “pro-women”?    When some in congress  they had two meetings on women's healthcare NO woman was invited.

TO   Be Pro-Choice  is to acknowledge that  Reproductive rights are basic human rights, too IN OUR DEMOCRACY.    Regardless of her reason to abort,   denying a woman of that personal choice would effectively deny her of the most basic human liberties.  COMPLICATIONS like  – Preeclampsia ** Placental abruption**Placenta previa **–Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG)**High blood pressure (pregnancy related **Gestational diabetes) ** Ectopic pregnancy ** Anemia ** Depression. All these health issues often persist over a lifetime    Which one has more value...an underdeveloped parasite fetus or a woman who might be one of the 700 who die each year in birthing.?    An additional 34,000 barely avoid death. (CDC).    You don't read about these stats or hear about them.    To those men who a pro-life ...if you want to take women's reproductive rights away then it's only fair you-all by law must get a   vascetomy.

Republican vandals can't always anonymously throw trash and logs on the bonfire they started to burn down the people's government. Sometimes they get caught.
