rk9152 says "As to the Russians trying to divide us, many posters here are prime examples. Unrelenting attacks on the elected President of the US must cause the vodka to flow in Moscow."

Kind of like your never ending attacks on our honorable and honest President Obama !!! Short memory ?

In Trump World, none of the many convicted felons in his administration and campaign are held accountable or responsible for their actiions by Trump Cult members. In their alternate reality, it's always a devious FBI agent or U.S. Attorney. Remember, in Trump World, it's the FBI and the Mueller Team who are currupt. Yes, they actually believe that.

I think it's too much for them to hold the National Security Advisor accountable for his actions. Keep in mind, it was his job is to protect America. But he LIED and is now a convicted felon.

How do you think they would react if it was the Obama Administration or the people in Hillary's campaign? Can you spell DOUBLE STANDARD and HYPOCRISY?

If you read the item you will see that it is not about the "Trump world" - it is about the corrupt "McCabe world" feeding the "Corrupt Mueller world" - and it was all Comey's idea. Quite a package there.

Are you saying Flynn is not responsible for his criminal activity?

Which "criminal activity" are you referring to - Contracting with Turkey or getting scammed by Comey's guys? Remember, just like the other targets of the fishing expedition their "criminality" is of no interest. It is just a way for the Mueller team to get people to say what they want about the President.

Maybe the criminal activity that Flynn admitted to when he plead guilty.

...and that was?? Consider it in the context of Comey's bragging how they scammed him.

How about considering it in the context of Flynn’s guilty plea.

Sure - Mueller ruined Flynn's finances and threated to do more if Flynn would not say what Mueller wanted to hear. And it all began with dirty tricks by a corrupt DoJ. How's that for context?

So now GOPers support laws that protect stupid crooks - good to know.

For GOPers, it's a CRIME if the FBI outsmarts a GOPerLord or one of their minions, so the CRIME the Lord/minion committed must be forgiven.

More retweeting of the Russian Trolls by Trumpettes - how's that for context?

here is to hoping Mr. Michael "lock her up" Flynn gets sentenced with at least some jail time today!! All I have to add is lock HIM up!! That is all. Meanwhile I read online where Roger Stone admitted to lying online. Shocking isn't it???? The whole gang of them from Trump on down are pathological liars. They all deserve prison time. It is coming.

I hope all have read the material being released on TV this evening. We see more indictments, and $600,000 being paid to Flynn by Turkey for his work. The line in this thread became the in thing during last week if you watched FOX. They spent a few day on it, and that was the signal to the followers that this would be the diversion subject to cover while Flynn is being sentenced this week. Do not spend to much time on this. Read the report on how Russia used social media to try and control how this country thinks. What is going on here is outlined in detail.

When did the emphasis shift from "Russian collusion" to "Turkish collusion"?

I'll go see what Fox has to say about that. No one else is explaining it.

The Flynn Entrapment

Of course Flynn was entrapped.I'm LOL again!

He was a general and the "National Security Advisor" who was supposed to be protecting us from Russia. He was hardly an unsophisticated blue collar worker who didn't understand the law.

But in Trump World, the blame always goes to the corrupt FBI and corrupt Mueller investigative team. Nobody in the Trump Administration or campaign committed any crimes. They were illegal acts created by an out of control Robert Mueller.

Remember when Republicans always talked about individual responsibility and accountability?

Is there anyone out there, including GOPers, who does not KNOW Martha Stewart SERVED TIME for lying to Federal Investigators?

Anyone still want to pretend Flynn did not know EXACTLY what he was doing, AND DID IT ANYWAY?

The question we need answered is what ELSE did Flynn know about Trump's Russian conspiracy that he lied to conceal? Same question needs to be asked and answered regarding Paul Manafort - he lied, knew he'd probably get caught, so what OTHER Trump crimes is he STILL concelaing?

Do you allow for the possibility of entrapment? Comey seems quite pleased at how they pulled that off.

No, because there was no "entrapment". Entrapment involves a Government agent acting to encourage a third party to commit a crime and then arresting him for doing what he'd been encouraged ("set up") to do. The encouragement must be really serious - remember "Arabgate" or what happened to John DeLorean? Those operations were both totally legal, sooo...

HOW EXACTLY did anyone "set up" Flynn so he would lie to the FBI?

Not telling him lying to the FBI is a crime was totally unnecessary because Flynn KNEW IT WAS A CRIME AND DID IT ANYWAY!

What is Flynn still hiding from the investigators?

All you have to do is read the article and note Comey's delight at having gotten away with it to understand the "entrapment".

I don't understand how you entrap someone into lying.

"Did you do meet with the Russians?"

"No. I did not meet with the Russians"

I guess by asking the question?

In general, anyone reading the article would say, "That is not the way I want our Justice system to work".

Now the nit picking - he spoke on the phone (not met with), it was one man (not "Russians"), and he made a request, “that Russia not escalate the situation and only respond to the U.S. Sanctions in a reciprocal manner”. The response was, "Kislyak agreed that Russia would “moderate its response to those sanctions”'. Is that really something so terrible??

This is a prime example of Mueller taking his mandate to read, "Get Trump by any means necessary? And it also shows how deep is the blind hatred when possibly usually reasonable people would cheer such actions by the DoJ.
