Can you point to the law against entrapment thereby making it a crime? That would be a great "hint".

If you're so certain entrapment played a role in the Flynn case, then how come the case wasn't thrown out? That's the way it works, ya know. Entrapment does have criminal implications (civil implications, too). When the judge asked if Flynn felt entrapped, and the answer was NO, that's where this right wing conspiracy theory ends.

Was "E" the letter of the week on Trump's criminal swamp Sesame Street? The blind ignorance of Trump supporters has them stuck repeating extortion - entrapment - extortion - entrapment.

I love it , a Trump supporter calling someone else , like the Head of the FBI " a con job ". BTW Flynn himself and his Attorney stated to the court that they were not entrapped or conned into any testimony. I guess some don't read the real news ? Sounds more like the National Enquirer of AARP !!!

Who in their right mind would believe when the FBI brings you in to interview you , it's for a " friendly discussion " ?  Wake up and smell the coffee folks.

I hope all have read the material being released on TV this evening. We see more indictments, and $600,000 being paid to Flynn by Turkey for his work. The line in this thread became the in thing during last week if you watched FOX. They spent a few day on it, and that was the signal to the followers that this would be the diversion subject to cover while Flynn is being sentenced this week. Do not spend to much time on this. Read the report on how Russia used social media to try and control how this country thinks. What is going on here is outlined in detail.

When did the emphasis shift from "Russian collusion" to "Turkish collusion"?

I'll go see what Fox has to say about that. No one else is explaining it.

As to the Russians trying to divide us, many posters here are prime examples. Unrelenting attacks on the elected President of the US must cause the vodka to flow in Moscow.

__________________________________________________

The emphasis never switched as both countries were in this from day one with Flynn. Go look at what you and the other far right were posting then. Turkey was paying Flynn as their paid lobbyist, Russia was bribing Flynn to support their efforts to elect Trump. Flynn was a paid commentator on RT TV here in the US, went to large dinner with others like Jill Stein who were part of the crew Russia used, and Flynn was compromised by Russia when he lied about his dealing with the Russian Ambassador. Flynn pleaded guilty to that, and to being an unlicensed foreign Reb. for Turkey.  The far right has already gone to FOX that is why we see all of a sudden this appears all over the net including here. This was chosen as the diversion by the far right leadership just as outlined in the report on how Russia was involved in our elections, and other things.  The only people trying to divide us are the far right and that is outlined in the report on Russia and the far right. Yes the Vodka is flowing in Moscow due to the mess Trump has created all around the world, and how his far right enablers have acted to assist him.

What were his "dealings" with the Ambassador? It seemed he was establishing a relationship in preparation for his new job.

Working on a TV station is not being bribed. And it seems strange to think that Russia was bribing him to support Trump.

Now, his lie to the FBI. They had the transcripts. Why did they need to ask him except to look for entrapment?

The Russian's involvement in the elections - no doubt. Their goal was (and is) to weaken us by division. Their constant attacks on the President and everyone associated with him (including the Mueller fishing expedition) plays right into their game plan.

The judge put this fake right wing subject to bed this afternoon in court. He made Flynn refute everything the far right enablers leaders have been saying on FOX about this subject. Even FOX told all its viewers that the Judge proved what they were saying is wrong. That means everything posted in the media by the followers has been proven wrong per FOX NEWS. Truth wins Trump and enablers loose.

"Entrapped" is hardly "everything". You have misquoted Fox.

It might be said that he was not entrapped because he should have known. Yet, there is Comey bragging how they did get away with something because of the disorder in the new Administration.

Here we see how the enablers carry on even after their leaders on FOX have told them to stop as what FOX told them has been proven to be not true. The experts proved correct again, and a lesson for all why the far right is so dangerous to the USA. The far right lost again.

Here we see where a hater runs out of logic and they trot out Fox.

Now, do you care to comment on the thoughts expressed above. Or do you prefer to throw in Fox again and play the "timed out" game?

Was Comey charged with entrapment in the Flynn case? Nope. Gee, must be another big ole right wing conspiracy to cover up the Trump admin climbing in bed with the Russians from the get-go.

"CHARGED"??? What law does it break?

Flynn pleaded guilty to the crimes he committed. A judge would not allow guilty pleas unless Flynn had broken the law. And when asked by the judge if Flynn was entrapped, the answer was no. Case closed. Smiley Very Happy

Are you sure that if both parties agree a judge will not permit the plea?

Well if you don't think entrapment is a crime, then why are you accusing Comey of it? Here's a hint for ya - entrapment IS a crime. Flynn was asked if he felt entrapped and the answer is no. Case closed. Smiley Very Happy

As to your second comment, show me the record of any judge that is bent on sentencing people that haven't committed a crime. I'd venture to say that most judges aren't like Trump, and actually READ and familiarize themselves with the work before them.

Yep, Comey's bragging sure did fool us. It sounded like he was quite proud of the entrapment.

And your ‘definition game’ is failing bigly.

What does that mean?

Re: The Flynn Entrapment

If Al Capone were a Republican, Trumpettes would insist he was "set up" because Eliot Ness never told him he should pay his taxes.

Flynn has even less of a justification for claiming entrapment - unlike Scarface, Flynn spent a lifetime INSIDE the Federal system, underwent numerous security background investigations and without a shadow of doubt new EXACTLY what could happen if he lied to the FBI.

But still he LIED - he admitted it, he even pled guilty to other criminal acts, and you have to wonder WHY? What was more damaging than his conversations with Russian officials about removing sanctions? Which of Trump's Treasons does he know more about than he's told so far?

Well, the judge upbraided him for his attempt to minimize the severity of his crimes in that absurd attempt to claim entrapment, told him there was still a very good chance he would serve hard time, and gave him 90 days to continue to cooperate and prove his usefullness to the justice system before he was sentenced for the crimes he already plead guilty to.

Stay tuned - shoes are dropping even as we speak.
