AN imbecile could inherit 2 to 4 million dollars and hire corrupt accountants and lawyers to increase that wealth. Trump's bankruptcies have cost small businesses, contractors, and workers millions of dollars while he walks away unscathed. If you add up his debts the only one who believes he's a billionaire is HIM. He claims he’s a multi-billionaire, but evidence suggests otherwise. No other multi-billionaire has had bankrtupcies like Trump. . Warren Buffett said: “He simply got infatuated with how much money he could borrow, his accountants and lawyers did not give enough thought to how much money he could pay back. : “The big problem with Donald Trump and his team basically overpaid for properties, but he got people to lend him the money. He and his team were terrific at borrowing money. If you look at his assets, and what he paid for them, and what he borrowed to get them, there was never any real equity there.
If he is considered SMART to finagle ways through his lawyers/accountants to never pay taxes then does that make us DUMB who pay them to keep this country's fire-men--security---infrastructure--recreational facillities--military etc etc alive and well ? ?? He's a shyster---and a big-time CHISELER.
Trump is a true terrorist when it comes to dealing with women and he's on record for that so I don't need to go into that sickening story now. . He's mocked the disabled, implied blacks are criminals, said Mexican immigrants should be suspected of being "rapists". He's claimed that "Islam hates us". The people of Iowa were "stupid".
Trump's snobby-born compliments for brutal dictators, and the twisted lessons he seems to have learned from their history, again demonstrate how dangerous he is as commander-in-chief and how unworthy he is of the office.
I'm DONE ! !
When you tell the Truth and use actual numbers, President Obama looks GREAT and donny Bonespurs looks like the Toad he is.
When Reagan entered office the Debt was $829B and when he left it was $3,757B, and increase of $1.936 TRILLION or 233.5% in 8 years,
Jrbush entered office with a debt of $5.807TRILLION and a budget SURPLUS of $350BILLION. Junior left us with a debt of $11.910TRILLION, an increase of $6.103TRILLION or 105.1% and a budget deficit of $1.4 TRILLION,
President Obama entered office with a debt of $11,910B and a deficit of $1.4TRILLION and left office with a debt of $20,448B an increase of 71% and a deficit of $543B, a reduction of 78%.
When Putin slithered ToadPOTUS into the Oval Office We had already had 75 straight months of economic growth, and for President Obama’s last 6 years in office we averaged 210,000 new jobs every month. Donny Bonespurs has added an average of 171,000 jobs per month and doubled the Federal deficit from $543B to $1,101B in just three years while adding over $3Trillion to the Debt. Oh by the way, he redistributed $1.2 TRILLION from We the People into the pockets of the Corporate Oligarchs who did not spend a dime on increasing worker pay, but gave all the windfall to themselves in bonus money or used it for stock buybacks that increased their wealth and control over the companies they're paid to run.
100% of the increases in real income since 2016 have gone to the top 10%, the next lower 50% managed to stay even with inflation and the bottom 40% lost real income thanks in big part to Republicans having legalized loan sharking.
If you are NOT in that top 10% (income above $118,400), supporting tRump and the rest of the GOP is like sharpening the razor for the man who will use it to slit yout throat.
He has done an exceptional job of riding the Obama Recovery. So........about those huge deficits he has created.....
FYI-Obama came into office in 2008 with a national debt of $10 trillion dollars. In only eight years, he managed to double the debt to $20 trillion dollars. Trump entered office with a $20 trillion dollar debt (from Obama). Now (three years later) it is a $22 trillion dollar debt (a 10% increase in 3 years).
Obama doesn't look so good when you realize the debt he doubled!
jimc91: One need not be a Trump devotee to appreciate the amazing record of more jobs and higher wages achieved
Once again those pesky facts rain on the parade.Lol
Since January 2017, the U.S. has added 4.9 million jobs, not 5.3 million. Of them, 454,000 were in manufacturing, not 600,000, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Trump apparently reasons that employers and investors were so encouraged by his victory that they stepped up their hiring and investing right after the Nov. 8 election. But the economy simply does not turn on a dime like that, and Trump did not inherit a mess.
Here’s what history will record: More jobs were created in Obama’s last two years (5.1 million) than in Trump’s first two years (4.9 million).
Ed: Good morning to all- After reading this post, I wish I had about 500 pounds of it to spread over my vegetable garden.
Agreed, it's a load of fertilizer. It's a side effect suffered by lovesick conservatives.....they are driven to write unintentionally hilarious articles praising whatever fool they are currently in love with. The one below was by John Hinderaker of Powerline blog in 2005 (about President Bush). The first sentence alone is enough to cause falling down with laughter.
"It must be very strange to be President Bush. A man of extraordinary vision and brilliance approaching to genius, he can’t get anyone to notice. He is like a great painter or musician who is ahead of his time, and who unveils one masterpiece after another to a reception that, when not bored, is hostile."
One need not be a Trump devotee to appreciate the amazing record of more jobs and higher wages achieved -- despite the forecasts by “experts.” One need not be a fan of Trump’s to appreciate that his attention to Asian affairs was not the kind of policy fiction of Obama-Clinton-Kerry
By all means, keep criticizing Trump -- his rhetoric, his style, his long ties, his hair, ya-da-ya-da, but step back to appreciate the full picture.
Take exception to elements of Trump’s style, but not Trump’s exceptionalism.
Trump is definitely exceptional. We've never had a president in our lifetime who's a pathological liar, surrounds himself with convicted felons, has been accused of sexual assault by 24 women, refuses to voluntarily release his tax returns, has no respect for the rule of law, calls the free press an enemy of the people, and he ignores U.S. intelligence agencies, while believing everythng Vladimir tells him. And the above is only a partial listing of what makes Trump exceptional.
The scary part is the approximaely 35% of Americans who have no standards for the president of the United States,
