Expect perhaps in their own minds.

The fact that all of the greatest STEM achievers in history were White males is not a coincidence, nor is it the result of social constructions.  The deniers are selfish ingrates and there is nothing worse than an ingrate.

Sounds like a spiel from Richard Spencer.

Ten to fifteen thousand years ago cultivation was discovered in the fertile crescent, it spread through Asia and the Middle East to Africa and up into Europe out to Great Britain and Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea area.

It was a change in climate that made that possible, the hunter gatherers merged with the migrants made possible by agriculture and developed new cultures, the predecessors of the ancient civilizations.

They invented agriculture, math, the concept of zero, geometry, astronomy, written words, records, libraries, ship building, trade routes, and a lot more.

People in the Baltic Sea Area traded Amber from the Baltic sea  for bronze from the Middle East before there was such a thing as white culture.

Trade led to an exchange is ideas and technology, it led to prosperity and rising populations, a warm spell, climate change, led to a population boom, which led to the Vikings.

This whole white culture argument is nothing more then who is currently on top at the moment, in recent history it's the Europeans, but they stand on the shoulders of those that proceeded them.

Ten or fifteen thousand years is a blink of an eye in the process of human evolution, there is no superior  race.

I never heard of  Richard Spencer.

You have a remarkable knowledge of prehistoric times.  Did you learn all of that from carvings on cave walls?  Most remarkably, all of that was long before the dark ages that you would be living in without white male scientists, engineers and mathematicians, and therefore irrelevant to my comment.

Do you have anything intelligent to say about my statement that the hero worship of politicians is a social construction?   And, unlike you, I don't accept that social construction.

The Causes of My White Male Guilt

Carl Friedrich Gauss (1777–1855)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Friedrich_Gauss

"he proved the following conjectured theorems:
Fermat polygonal number theorem for n = 3
Fermat's last theorem for n = 5
Descartes's rule of signs
Kepler conjecture for regular arrangements

He also
explained the pentagramma mirificum (see University of Bielefeld website)
developed an algorithm for determining the date of Easter
invented the Cooley–Tukey FFT algorithm for calculating the discrete Fourier transforms 160 years before Cooley and Tukey"

The last was a big zinger for me. One of my Jewish Electrical Engineering professors said that the only reason the Gauss didn't solve the theory of relativity was that the question was never put to him.

"According to Isaac Asimov, Gauss was once interrupted in the middle of a problem and told that his wife was dying. He is purported to have said, "Tell her to wait a moment till I'm done."

That suggests that Gauss had a great desire and ability to mentally focus, the exact opposite of the desire and ability to multitask sometimes ascribed to women.

Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein

"Special relativity, General relativity, ..."

Erwin Schrödinger (1887-1961)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erwin_Schr%C3%B6dinger
"New quantum theory ... Creation of wave mechanics ... Work on a unified field theory"

The last is the real zinger for me, because he wanted a simplified rather than more complicated explanation of everything.

Nikola Tesla (1856-1943)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla

"Tesla developed an induction motor that ran on alternating current (AC) ... In the summer of 1889, Tesla traveled to the 1889 Exposition Universelle in Paris and learned of Heinrich Hertz' 1886–88 experiments that proved the existence of electromagnetic radiation, including radio waves. ... Wireless lighting ...."

Charles Proteus Steinmetz (1865-1923)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Proteus_Steinmetz

Hunchback who "is known for his contribution in three major fields of alternating current (AC) systems theory: hysteresis, steady-state analysis, and transients." He invented the phasor.

Oliver Heaviside (1850-1925)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliver_Heaviside

"He invented the Heaviside step function using it to calculate the current when an electric circuit is switched on. He was the first to use the unit impulse function now usually known as the Dirac delta function. He invented his operational calculus method for solving linear differential equations. This resembles the currently used Laplace transform method based on the "Bromwich integral" named after Bromwich who devised a rigorous mathematical justification for Heaviside's operator method using contour integration. ...

Heaviside coined the following terms of art in electromagnetic theory:
admittance (reciprocal of impedance) (December 1887);
elastance (reciprocal of permittance, reciprocal of capacitance) (1886);
conductance (real part of admittance, reciprocal of resistance) (September 1885);
electret for the electric analogue of a permanent magnet, or, in other words, any substance that exhibits a quasi-permanent electric polarization (e.g. ferroelectric);
impedance (July 1886);
inductance (February 1886);
permeability (September 1885);
permittance and permittivity (June 1887);
reluctance (May 1888);
susceptance (imaginary part of admittance, reciprocal of reactance) (1887)."

Marilyn vos Savant (1946-?)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marilyn_vos_Savant

"Savant was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records under "Highest IQ" from 1986 to 1989 and entered the Guinness Book of World Records Hall of Fame in 1988 ... 228 ... 186"

"Fermat's Last Theorem ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermat%27s_Last_Theorem )

A few months after Andrew Wiles said he had proved Fermat's Last Theorem, Savant published The World's Most Famous Math Problem (October 1993), which surveys the history of Fermat's last theorem as well as other mathematical problems. Controversy came from its misguided criticism of Wiles' proof; she was said to misunderstand mathematical induction, proof by contradiction, and imaginary numbers

Especially contested was her unfortunate statement that Wiles' proof should be rejected for its use of non-Euclidean geometry. She said that because "the chain of proof is based in hyperbolic (Lobachevskian) geometry", and because squaring the circle is seen as a "famous impossibility" despite being possible in hyperbolic geometry, then "if we reject a hyperbolic method of squaring the circle, we should also reject a hyperbolic proof of Fermat's last theorem."

Specialists flagged discrepancies between the two cases, distinguishing the use of hyperbolic geometry as a "tool" for proving Fermat's last theorem and from its use as a "setting" for squaring the circle: squaring the circle in hyperbolic geometry is a different problem from that of squaring it in Euclidean geometry. Savant was criticized for rejecting hyperbolic geometry as a satisfactory basis for Wiles' proof, with critics pointing out that axiomatic set theory (rather than Euclidean geometry) is now the accepted foundation of mathematical proofs and that set theory is sufficiently robust to encompass both Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry as well as geometry and adding numbers.

Savant retracted the argument in a July 1995 addendum, saying she saw the theorem as "an intellectual challenge – 'to find another proof using only tools available to Fermat in the 17th century.'"

Obviously Marilyn vos Savant's underachievement in STEM was a social construction caused by the tyrannical white male hierarchy. Probably, when she was a little girl, her daddy bought her a Barbie Doll instead of a Gilbert Erector Set.

What really is a social construction is the hero worship of politicians, because, without the white male scientists, engineers and mathematicians, like the ones listed above, all of you would be living in the dark ages.  They are more important than politicians, including Bush, Obama and Trump.
