Here are some thoughts you might  take to heart. A lot of the people you are talking about did not pay Income Taxes before. They say of the middle class on down only 44% paid income taxes so right now this all means little to them. Later it will as prices spike due to Trump tariffs etc. You might spend more time on that area, and you might spend some time learning about Trump and his White House and who is really making policy. Here is a fact for you on the Tax  Increase debate inside the WH when the bill was being written. Trump wanted to offset part of the  Tax Decrease to Business by Increasing the top rate Indv. pay to 44%. This was killed. How. His top Adv. on Business policy Steve Cohen called him and told him he should not do that as he will loose the Reb. Party as they always support cutting the top rate payers to pay less. SC is a Dem. Trump did what he was told. Trump does not run the WH or Govt. most of the time. The people around him run him. He is a front man to go out and talk to the rabble and get them to support everything he says, most of which is given to him by his controllers. This same type of thing has happened over and over again. Trump is handled like a little child by the people around him.

From the Conservative perspective a good decision was made. To theorize as to how it was made is petty.

Nice to see you admit that Conservative perspective is the same as a child's. I have been trying to tell the far right that for years. You missed the whole point of the post, and that is sad.

Republicans have so totally decimated the economies of the States they control it's easy to get low CURRENT unemployment stats - their citizens have no hope of finding a decent job so they aren't even looking. But they do cut taxes for rich people and don't waste a dime on educational excellence, so their base is well pleased knowingat least their own kids will never be smarter or do better than them. Somehow this is comforting to Republicans, which explains a lot about why they love Der Trumper - his daddy gave him a HUGE amount of money he hid from the IRS, but listening to the Orange Toad for 5 minites and even the Goobers know he's got the brain of a flea and the morality of a 2-pronged billygoat, so they will never feel inferior the their POTUS - and best of all, he hates all the people his base hates - women, non-whites, foriegners, poor people who aren't white - and HE, Der Trumper can really can and DOES HURT all those people they hate together.

You are overlooking the fact that employment is up. Intentionally? Only you know.

And then the totally unrelated to the topic Party line "people his base hates - women, non-whites, foriegners, poor people who aren't white".

I support the agenda of President Trump and am pleased to see his efforts to carry it out. Does that mean I hate all those people.

Seeing your monthly bills go down before the election is certainly a plus. Is it enough to sway the election. We'll know Novemeber 6th.

Thank You GOP tax bill for:

  • Increasing the deficit by almost $2 Trillion
  • Soaring inflation which is eating up the small gains blue collar workers derived from the bill.

"Valhalla"??? Who promised Valhalla????

As to the jobs - all of the above. There are more jobs, entry level and continuing due to increased economic activity. And there are wage increases for the same reasons plus because of the lowered costs of corporate taxes and regulation.

With the trump tax cut, can you say “sugar high”, “time bomb”, and “discriminatory”. Time will tell unfortunately. Hopefully not another large recession!

And with the spin about the economy,

the talk of wage increases for the working class, how does this compare with the increased cost of goods, gas price increases, and inflation.

Are wages keeping up with those cost factors or losing ground to them?

Sure seems that trump and his repubs were promising sunshine and rainbows!

I had not heard anything about sunshine and rainbows but an improved economy with more people able to find jobs sounds like a good idea to me.
