Ah!!!!!! those Evangelicals the ones with the flexible morals. I bet they know their whole biographies.

Re: Texas state board of education votes to remove Hillary and Helen Keller from Curriculum
This clarifies the problem in TX, the makeup of the SBOE embraces stupidity and ignorance. They are pushing / adopting theology over accurate history. The only saving grace is the Internet. Some will whine about Telecom being liberal. That now means that Internet Telecoms are presenting facts, not fictional bs via SBOE.
Reminder: the last time the SBOE attempted this, major educational book companies rejected the TX changes. So TX can teach their lies, just not anywhere else in the US.

And since when Texas has been known as the epitome of literacy? they are so engrossed in the size of their State that they think that they don't need to do that to their brains.

There is a reason that only NEVADA, LOUISIANA, AND MISSISSIPPI is rated LOWER in literacy.
I bet the students in TEXAS can't even spell TWO of the THREE states that were lower than them in literacy.

Re: Texas state board of education votes to remove Hillary and Helen Keller from Curriculum
Well - that's why Texas has been down extremely close to the bottom of the nation's educational barrel most of the time...
An intelligent, literate and well read populace that knows all about everything in history - and has sufficient education to comprehend the implications of what's going on everywhere - would not vote for corrupt and dishonest lying republicans that are clearly and obviously heavily influenced by plainly and obviously evil and dishonest fundamentalist and evangelical leaders - their money - and control over who their easily scammed followers will vote for...
Keeping Texas voters stupid, prejudiced and bigoted is the only thing republicans and religious whackjobs can do in order to to stay in office and stay on that gravy train...
