Team Snowflake is overwhelmed by the Democratic minority

I have been listening to the Republicans as they try to blame the Democrats for the current Republican shutdown. The argument seems to be that the mean old Democrats took advantage of the inexperienced and less intelligent Republicans by having them waste time giving tax breaks to the rich that they ran out of time to run the government.  That those mean old Democrats should not have taken advantage of the position the snowflake Republicans put themselves in.

Is that about right?

Team Snowflake is the term used for Republians who belong to the second or third generation of wealth and priviledge. They generally do not understand how the world works because they have never had to deal with it without retainers and paid support staff.

They read about Marie Antoinette crying "Let them eat cake" and do not understand the controversy.   They brag about spending 3 days as a carpenter's helper on their dad's job site as having paid their dues. They are shocked, just shocked that someone stopped them from kicking the budget can down the road another month because they really, really, wanted to do that.

Every time you hear a Republican mention "Snowflakes", just know that their definition fits the Trump Republican generation perfectly.  Hence, the Republican party is Team Snowflake.

The election and subsequent spotlight on Trump and all his casual cruelties exposed the irony that, much as the conservatives talked about snowflakes, it was actually the second generation rich who had the fantasy opinions built around total separation from the world of working people (lefties).  Trump has often been called a man child for his actions and his lack of understanding of the conditions of the common man are legendary.  This is why he thinks he is a genius for not paying the vendor who provided pianos to his hotel.  He just does not get it. No experience in the real world the rest of us must deal with.

"Snowflakes" existed and were coddled before the election of President Trump. You are falling into the "nothing bad ever happened before last January" game.

Fingers are pointing left, fingers are pointing right. When everyone puts their fingers down and starts non partisan communication there will be a resolution. My belief is ever since 45 began his campaign and took office we have had chaos, and more chaos. For every step forward we can all point to a dozen steps backward- some very dangerous. 45 himself put the blame squarely on Barrack Obama's shoulders, said it ultimately falls on the President. Well? The master finger pointer.

Who is “Team Snowflake” ?

Do the very fragile young college students (Snowflakes) have some type of organized movement now?

I assume they gather in their “Safe Zone” but what do they want?

I fail to see what that has to do with you only spouting behind the keys or in front of like minded snowflakes. I bet you dont do it outside your safe space.

The GOP are such whiners.    TThe Republicans control the Congress and Senate and President and still they can't seem to even pass a 4 week CR.     As Chuck Schumer said, attempting to negotiate with Donald is like attempting to negotiate with Jello.

Based on the Constitution they are unable to pass it without Dems. Rather than just insulting, reading the Constitution would be more adult.

Absolutely. And there are some dems in the senate that are for it.  Along with the constitution we have reality..as in looking at the facts shows Trump did this all by himself. He opened daca just to get the taxpayers to pay for an uneeded wall. The master of negotiation in action.  Trump is the one that brought the loaded gun to the table..its just got turned on him. Democrats arent willing to "negotiate"? its exactly what they are doing..Trump style.

Many words, little meaning. It sounds like you are saying that your version of reality trumps the Constitution - not yet. But, come the revolution.....

Correction - the President did not "open" DACA, it has been under discussion for quite a while. While negotiation is important, you do not negotiate the Constitution. As such, it is the Congress that must pass the spending legislation as well as the immigration legislation. But it takes Dems as well as Reps to do both.

reality is..just that. it has nothing to do with whats constitutional does it? obsfucating the issues again? I dont have a version of reality, like you have alternative facts. there is only one reality. and you spend a good portion of your life here  in denial or delusion...or alternative fact land. whatever.

no, you are trying to play 3 card monty with 2 cards.  ( of course you dont even know what that means). You also like to blame the entire crises on the Dems, or whoever Trump tells you to. The fact is, it wouldnt be in  the budget bill if not for trump striking it down when he did. Its what he intended to do to make the taxpayers pay for the wall he promises now mexico will pay us back for. lol. He was even offered a wall at one point, but he wouldnt accep that either. It was proven he lied about wanting to keep DACA. Everyone in the country except a couple posters here see that. His negotiating ploy of throwing everything into the air at  zero hour back fired. If you want to blame the dems, fine with everyone. but if you do you are saying Trump was wrong to blame it all on the president. you cant have it both ways.

True, i have no idea what 3 card monty is.But I am familiar with 3 card monte. Shall we play?

I make up my own mind on issues. I know that there are some here so consumed with hatred for our President that it is the hatred that makes their decisions for them. I make up my own mind - for example, DACA is an immigration issue not a budgetary issue.

"It was proven..." - saying it does it make it so.
