Trump and banks

.... The three appellate courts to consider the subpoena challenges have rejected Trump’s arguments.

The Supremes may simply concur with the three appellate courts' decisions.

More than his campaign funds, I want the World to know how much he owes Russia - Seems the answer could be around $2Billion, which is about what his properties are worth, according to Forbes. Deutsche Bank was the only one who would lend him a dime back in the 90's and the amount they funded for his real estate scams was around $2Billion, $450Million of which he refused to repay and none of which he can now make payments on. Banks, including DB, seldom loan multiple bankrupt customers any of THEIR money, but DB was overjoyed to help Russian mob, Oligarchs and Government launder over $10Billion that was looted from Russian companies and workers, and we already know at least some of donny's real estate deals were with a Russian Oligarch trying to hide money from his exwife, something donny would be very sympathetic towards.

YES the big test......and we'll see whose side they are on.

=========================================
And I thought that they do not and should not take sides...FYI ...

The Supreme Court functions as a last resort tribunal. Its rulings cannot be appealed. It also decides on cases dealing with the interpretation of the constitution (for example, it can overturn a law passed by Congress if it deems it unconstitutional).

Trump’s taxes, birth control and ‘faithless electors’ headline Supreme Court’s historic phone arguments

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trumps-taxes-birth-control-and-faithless-electors-headline-sup...

May 4, 2020

During historic telephonic arguments this week and next, the U.S. Supreme Court will take up major challenges involving access to President Donald Trump’s financial records, birth control health insurance, “faithless electors” in presidential elections and the constitutionality of the federal ban on robocalls, among others.

The justices will hear arguments in 10 cases over the two-week period. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the court and the lawyers in those cases will appear remotely. The nation may tune into those arguments because the justices– in another break with tradition– are providing a live audio feed to certain media outlets, who, in turn, will make the audio more widely available.

Week 1: Birth Control and RoboCalls

Affordable Care Act and birth control.....

The First Amendment and cell phones....

Week 2: Trump’s taxes and “faithless electors”

Trump and banks....

Trump’s taxes....

“Faithless” electors

LISTEN LIVE: Supreme Court hears arguments by phone

All of the cases on May 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13, are worth listening to if you have the time and the interest. The justices’ decisions may have significant implications for the powers of the presidency and the Congress, the manner in which the nation elects its president, female workers’ access to contraceptive care, our privacy in our cell phone usage and more. Some of the most prominent Supreme Court lawyers in the country will make the arguments. The justices also will post the transcripts and audio on their website each day after the arguments.

The Executive branch is not under the Legislative branch. Why do you think the congress has the power to subpoena anything it wants from the Executive branch?

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Because the Constitution gives them that right in the Impeachment process. You do want the Constitution to be followed, right? If your answer is yes then you should want tRump to comply

The three branches of government are equal and the Constitution gives them the right to subpoena anything it wants from the Executive branch if the courts agree and the Executive Branch has a RIGHT to contest the subpoena by bringing it to ever higher courts all the way to the Supreme Court at which hands the decision lies!

Trump is the first president in over 40 years who refused to voluntarily release his tax returns. Remember when his excuse was being under audit?
