Re: TRUMP CRITICIZES MCMASTERS ABOUT RUSSIAN MEDDLING

When Donald is attacking McMasters who dares to speak about reality, it does make sane people wonder about the stability of Donald.    McMasters was in Germany  and stated:  Russians were meddling in the US election.    He is merely repeating the facts that are known by all the agencies in the US that have investigated this...since the beginning of Donald's regime.   https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2018/02/17/mcmaster-russian-meddling-u-s-elections-beyond-disput...

Donald and all his gang continue to lie.   CIA head lied last year and said Russia was not involved in any hacking of the US election, and the CIA walked back his statement ( Oct 2017)

Fast forward, VP Pence told the same lie recently  regarding Russian Hack and Mueller.

The current WH regime relies on lies and their voters  have become bobble heads..   And those are the people who claim that anything that Fox (and DC, Heritage, etc) says is true and every other agency around the globe (except Russian linked services) are liarsn.     Too Bizarre.

The question is will Donald fire McMasters....along with Kelly.   2020 can't come soon enough.

Generals understand Dereliction of Duty.

Proving dereliction - In order to prosecute a service member under Article 92, the government must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the service member knew (or should have reasonably known) his duties and that he was either, through neglect or culpable inefficiency (i.e., being inefficient without just cause), derelict in the performance of those duties.

This would be preferable to a coup, entirely appropriate ASAP.

@nctarheel

Unfortunately I have to agree with the drift of your post. From the start I have often thought that trump hired generals (flynn, kelly, mcmaster, and mattis) a. because perhaps they were the only people that might work for him, or b. trump knew that they would have to obey (important to trump) any orders from their boss the commander in chief. There are reasons that past administrations have not loaded up with military leaders. One clear reason is that going from serving in the military is not a direct transition to the world of politics. Perhaps because they cannot just order civilians around. Because of the current situation, we might just keep the coup scenario in the back of our minds, but hope that the generals will choose country and constitution over power and control.

And all of these men served honorably in the military, but since aligning with trump, we are watching them flush their reputations right down the toilet. In part because of trump and his “magic” touch...too bad for them, and us.

TRUMP CRITICIZES MCMASTERS ABOUT RUSSIAN MEDDLING

Trump has criticized just about everyone about the Russian Meddling in the election; except for Vladimir Putin.

Now, he has criticized his National Security Advisor, a General.

With American politics now being so unpredictable (as so many say) is it possible for those in the military that have been criticized by Trump (the list is growing and growing) to organize a military coup?

The U.S. Military takes an oath to defend the Constitution; not necessarily the President. If this President acted to pervert or sabotage the Constitution, and Congress didn't impeach, would our military feel action was necessary?

Visiting Mar-A-Lago every other week would make it easy for the military to secure him.

Just a thought exercise that I believe is taking greater hold throughout the ranks as time passes.
