TESLA Leaving CA

"Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he will take his company out of California amid an ongoing dispute about reopening plant operations in Alameda County. The billionaire said Tesla will immediately move its headquarters, located in Palo Alto, and future programs to Texas and Nevada.

Musk also described stay-at-home orders as "fascist" during Tesla's recent earnings report, viewing the orders as "forcibly imprisoning people in their homes against all their constitutional rights ..."

Actually, Musk threatened to leave.  It is now a public company and Musk owns about 18.5% of the shares. He is CEO and president of the board but his threatening to move the company because of the shelter in place order has about as much validity as Donald Trump threatening to be faithful to any of his wives.
