A recent study shows that the Trump campaign understands something about impeachment that everyone in America realizes — except House Democrats. Axios just reported that 99% of the campaign’s television ads this year discussed the endeavor to impeach President Donald Trump.

The study cited by Axios was conducted by the nonpartisan Wesleyan Media Project found that “over the past three months, the Trump campaign talked impeachment in 4,594 television ads. The amount spent on the advertisements amounted to about $4.4 million. The study focused on ads between Jan 5 and Dec 14 of this year.

Now here’s the part demonstrating that the left doesn’t quite understand the situation here. Axios’ interpretation of these findings completely misses the point. “This is a vivid new illustration of the alacrity with which the Trump campaign is embracing the stain of impeachment to raise money, rev up the base and try to build a head of steam against whoever emerges as the Democratic nominee,” they wrote.

In one sense they are right — the campaign is “embracing the stain of impeachment.” But contrary to what they seem to believe, it is not the president who is stained by the impeachment proceedings — it is those engaging in the brazenly partisan effort to remove him from office. It seems Trump’s team is well aware of this fact and is exploiting it to its fullest potential.

As support for impeachment continues to plummet, it seems appropriate for the campaign to keep using the Democrats’ favorite weapon against them. It has already threatened the seats of several House Democrats and even flipped one to the Republican side. There’s something almost poetic about it, isn’t there?

But unfortunately for the Democrats, they remain clueless. It is clear that impeachment is causing more damage to them than the president. Nevertheless, they persist. But for how long?

All should read the article as it tells what Trump is trying todo. Take something that should hurt him and try and change it to something that helps him. This was covered in the TV program last week on the Trump lies. If you repeat it often enough and in many different forms people start to think it is true, and that is what Trump is doing. Now we know the make up of his enablers from the experts. They are at the bottom of the food chain so they will be first to think it is true, and all can see from the post we see all over the Internet they do.  Sadly in time there will be more people fall into line unless it is countered strongly and the Dems should do that. Especially the ones running to be the Dem nominee. Sadly that is not happening and all thinking people should go after them to start doing that, and less nonsense on big new programs, and wine caves. So there is a grain of truth in what we read and if we react in the right way Dictator Trump will end up in the ash can of history along with his enablers.

"I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters."

         - IMPOTUS, Jan. 23, 2016, campaign rally in Iowa

Might as well run with the 'bad guy' personna and embrace the "stain of impeachment" since it is an indelible blot on the legacy of the 45th president forever and ever, even if the jury has already announced 'not guilty'.  Rally the campaign 'round the ol' impeachment flagpole -- a central point everyone has heard about, for better or for worse.

WH aides report that privately IMPOTUS is not a happy man over his "stain" in history.   Pretty obvious to see how obsessed and bothered IMPOTUS is when he has time to post 100+ tweets in a day over the 'I' word.

Happy holidays, IMPOTUS.  But, at least, you don't have to sit all by yourself in that 'big lonely WH' this Christmas.  You can commiserate and hold forth over your Mar-A-Lago cronies about the indignity of it all this year. HO!

This tells me that Trump doesn't have enough real accomplishments or acceptable goals to campaign on. Making Russia great isn't a great goal.
