First let's get the distraction out of the way:   Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their love of Donald Trump, to the point they will abandon all logic and reason.

Symptoms for this condition can be very diverse, ranging from racist or xenophobic outbursts to a complete disconnection from reality. TDS can also often result in the sufferer exhibiting violent, homicidal, or even genocidal desires, particularly against residents from foreign countries.

Sufferers have also been known to wish direct self-harm on themselves (such as increased tariffs, a desire for tax cuts heavily favoring corporations and the 1%, infringement of first amendment rights, and even the destruction of NATO for comrade Putin), provided that action was initiated by Donald Trump.

Paranoia is also a common symptom of TDS. Sufferers have been known to believe that they are in some way being persecuted when their Trump related beliefs are questioned, and in some cases believe they are about to be a victim of an immigrant related crime. The paranoia does however not seem to be bad enough to make TDS sufferers attempt to actually becoming informed and think for themselves.

Cadet Bonespurs has made a career of claiming victory when he's lost badly, something he picked up from mafia Consigliere Roy Cohen while losing bilions of other peoples money in his numerous fraudulant business disasters.

Jobs: lil donny entered office riding on an economy that had just completed 75 MONTHS of contineous higher employment. Since then, donny has added 27,000 FEWER jobs EACH MONTH than President Obama created during the same period of time - 6,423,000 for President Obama only 5,613,000 for tRump.

Income: Under President Obama real personal income increased 5.3% with most of the gains going to the middle class. Under tRump 100% of the gains have gone to the top 10% with 80% going to the top 1%.

Trade: Under tRump, the US Trade Deficit hit an all-time high of $891Billion in 2018 over $100Billion more than the highest year for President Obama. His USMCA has STILL not been ratified and many businesses in Canada and Mexico are looking for more reliable trading partners because of lil donny's infantile tantrum-induced tariffs. Those absurd tariffs have already cost US consumers an extra $24.6 Billion, erasing the income gained by the bottom 90% from tRumps TaxScam.

Leadership: Because of tRumps insults and economic attacks on our allies, not a single ally sided with the US when donny rejected the Iran Nuclear disarmament deal - most recently his feeble attempt to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan went NOWHERE because neither side considers him honest or trustworthy.

And yet his lofo base CHEERS his imaginary deeds BECAUSE what he HAS done is to inflict pain and suffering on record numbers of poor brown people who sincerely wish to become Americans and in the process exposing (Republican) America to the World as a defiler of human rights and molester of children on an industrial scale.

Krauthammer is a fascist twit who is overpaid by the GOPerLords to try and add a veneer of intellectualism to the Republican agenda of hate, divide and rule.

Once again GOPers pretend there is something besides racial hatred behind tRumps actions, but there's not. Proof? What has he actually accomplished, besides a record number of lies and handouts to the Corporate Oligarchs?

1. Is tRump really going pretty far down the road to dementia and loss of function?  Now, he's the "god" for the Jews of Israel? Now he is going to get rid of the "birthright" clause of citizenship?

2. Can  tRump really declare people who were born here as not citizens and therefore subject to deportation?

3. Can the country- and the world- tolerate another four years of this vile man and the people he draws around him- as flies are drawn to another substance very similar to tRump?

It's not just Trump, Trump was voted into office, and as you can see " his people" still defend him.

Trump is a symptom of a disease, a pustule, like the tokens is a plague.

Good evening to all-

Kidboy2-
Sometimes I wonder also how I influenced the thinking of my students- after all, that really was my job, to influence and change the thinking of my students.

I do hope I helped get my students to THINK- and see the world around them and what was going on.
I hope I influenced them to see when people in power were wrong and how to do something about the wrongness. I hope I helped give them skills to express their opinions in a meaningful way.

And I am quite objective- I would give tRump some credit for doing ANYTHING to improve the lives of people. But he has not. he has improved the financial standing of rich people and he has hurt and hurt badly other people who don't matter to him. tRump deserves no credit. He is an evil man who has done nothing but wrong.

good night to all- Ed

Wise thoughts above  from a fella that dove into a shallow part of a swimming  pool.....

The debate here and elswhere      "is  Trump Crazy Like a Fox or Plain Old Crazy"

NAW  ---he's not crazy.....early-on he acquired a devious nature   to a point of where he's  often just simply evil

insanity. or crazy  =  mental illness of such a severe nature that a person cannot distinguish fantasy from reality, cannot conduct her/his affairs due to psychosis, or is subject to uncontrollable impulsive behavior. Insanity is distinguished from low intelligence or mental deficiency due to age or injury.

FYI Ed...

Trump’s list: 289 accomplishments in just 20 months, ‘relentless’ promise-keeping
by Paul Bedard
| October 12, 2018 08:43 AM

Part of the link....

The Trump administration’s often overlooked list of achievements has surpassed those of former President Ronald Reagan at this time and more than doubled since the last tally of accomplishments after his first year in office, giving President Trump a solid platform to run for re-election on.

As Trump nears the two-year mark of his historic election and conducts political rallies around the country, during which he talks up his wins in hopes it will energize Republican voters, the administration has counted up 289 accomplishments in 18 categories, capped by the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

They include 173 major wins, such as adding more than 4 million jobs, and another 116 smaller victories, some with outsize importance, such as the 83 percent one-year increase in arrests of MS-13 gang members

“Trump’s successes in reducing the cost of taxes and regulations, rebuilding our military, avoiding wars of choice and changing the courts rival those of all previous Republican presidents,” said Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.

“Trump has an advantage over Ronald Reagan: He has a Reagan Republican House and Senate while Reagan had a [Democratic Speaker] Tip O’Neill House and a pre-Reagan Republican Senate. Reagan and [former GOP Speaker] Newt Gingrich were the ice breakers that allowed Trump’s victories to grow in number and significance,” he added.

Unlike the Year One list which included many proposals and orders still to be acted on, the new collection includes dozens of actions already in place, signed legislation, and enforced executive orders.

For example, while the Year One list bragged about the administration’s efforts to rewrite the much-maligned NAFTA trade deal with Canada and Mexico, the Year Two list said: “Negotiated an historic U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement to replace NAFTA.”

In December, Secrets reported on the first list of White House accomplishments.

And shockingly the NAFTA achievement is presented as a sidebar to the larger achievement that reads, “President Trump is negotiating and renegotiating better trade deals, achieving free, fair, and reciprocal trade for the United States.” Under that umbrella are eight trade deals cut with Japan, South Korea, Europe and China.

“President Trump is a truly unique leader in American history. He’s a kid from Queens who became an international business leader and made billions by getting things when no one said he could,” said Trump’s 2016 campaign pollster John McLaughlin.

“They told him he couldn’t be president and beat the establishment and he did. For two years the establishment is telling him he can’t do things in Washington and he’s succeeding in spite of them. He never retreats. He doesn’t back up. He’s relentless. He just wins,” he added.

Comparing the two years shows that the latest has an expanded group of economic achievements while the pro-life category was folded into the health care section.

=========================================================

How about being a little objective...give Trump some credit. But when one has Trump Derangement Syndrome its hard...I understand but it can not change what has happened..you being a x-teacher makes me wonder how you influenced the thinking of your students.

Re: tRump Derangement Syndrome TDS- is the everyday "normal" condition of the present occupant of the White House. He is, by any rational standard, deranged on a number of levels and in a number of ways. The only"reality" of the present occupant is what he wants at any particular time. The truth is what he wants it to be. The only thing that matters is the present occupant gets what he wants when he wants it. The worst thing about this syndrome is that it is contagious and people who have little ability to tell truth from fiction fall victim to the group derangement and continue to support the present occupant's behavior and words. We can do better. Vote the garbage out. good day to all- Ed
