Trump hasn't been able to 'make a deal' since he went into office. Trump is one big fat lie.

Both, as usual.

@Olderscout66

The aspect that regulations are geared towards protecting corporations, not the workers, has posed another question that also needs close inspection...

from the EPA to China, are there any trump deals, or trade deals that the US and it’s Citizens have benefitted from...

is this not a scathing indictment for declaring trump as the worst president in US history?

Someone recently declared that one of his accomplishments is the coal industry...is that the best that he has!

The sticking point is Democrats will NOT accept the Republican demand the bill include an exclusion from lawsuits for businesses who expose their workers to tRumpvid20. Moscow Mitch admitted as much when he said he was protecting the WORKERS by demanding the EMPLOYERS can only be held accountable if they commit an EGREGIOUS act that causes workers to get tRumpvid20.

What does EGREGIOUS mean in this situation?

It means the employer must do something that is designed AND INTENDED to give workers the disease!  Otherwise they cannot be sued.

If all they do is overcrowd the workspace, without adequate ventilation or physical barriers between workers or requiring everyone,l including customers,  to wear a mask, then begin firing people who call in sick they are OKAY...in short, if ALL they do is what the food processors and others HAVE ALREADY DONE TO INFECT THEIR WORKERS,  THEN THAT'S OKAY BY THE REPUBLICANS, and the workers who get the disease cannot sue their employer for having an unsafe work environment.

All the GOPerbot waiting to hear if they'll be going back to work need to think real hard if THAT'S the work environment they want for themselves, or if they're retired, is that what they want for their kids and grandkids.

The Democrats will NEGOTIATE on just about everything else, but giving Employers carte blanche to spread the disease to their workforce is NOT NEGOTIABLE, and anyone who thinks it should be either isn't going to work

or isn't thinking at all.

I see Trump managed to scream at his number one donor,Sheldon Adelson. Adelson called Trump to talk about the Covid relief bill and Trump started yelling that Adelson was not doing enough for his campaign. One of the people on the call said it was apparent the president had no idea how much Adelson, who’s donated tens of millions of dollars to pro-Trump efforts over the years, had helped him.

Yep......a real deal maker.

The art of the deal is: there is no deal, nor is there any art to it...there is only a pretender who says he is a great deal maker, who makes a mess of everything that he touches.

And what we are seeing this weekend at his resort, is how desperate trump is for adulation from 20 resort members, and his pretend press conferences. Now that he has screwed up so badly, will he now pretend to be “the great fixer”!
...or just make a bigger mess.

Trump campaigned as a successful businessman who had some great skill or secret ability to get deals done.  But what those who got sucked into his rhetoric failed to remember is, he's also the same guy who bankrupted multiple corporations along the way.  So, for me, his promise to run our government like a business was a forewarning of the Trumpian destruction and ultimate bankruptcy of America to come.

So, tell me again about how this "Art of the Deal" thing works

Once again, we find Donald Trump in a position where negotiations are necessary and he can't even find the ball, much less get it over the goal line.  The Democratic House passed the next relief bill months ago and could NOT get the regressives to the table to discuss it. Trump has sent his Treasury Secretary (the film producer) and his chief of staff (the guy who shot down more spending bills than anyone else) in to do his negotiating. Now, we are at Friday and millions of Americans are losing their lifelines due to Republican mismanagement.

Trump's plan? He is going to use executive orders to outlaw income taxes, ban landlords from conducting evictions, and mandate that every working in America get a government check.   So....................has he just been hanging out with Putin too much?
