Should Trump issue a blanket pardon for himself and his children?

Trump will be leaving office. It appears almost certain to be in 2021 but may be in 2025. Regardless, how will the Conservatives feel if Trump issues a preemptive pardon to himself and his children before leaving office?  A logical move or an indication that much will be uncovered when he is not able to suppress evidence anymore?

At least Trump doesn't have to worry about being charged with violations of the "phony emoluments clause."

First off, if the "emoluments clause" were "phony" it would not have been included in the Constitution.

While you're POTUS, even a ToadPotus, such a violation is grounds for impeachment, but as soon as Toad is just another toad, the crime is EXTORTION, just like what Toad did with the UK, Ukraine and China.

Expect more blood and gore on the streets of America as Toad becomes desperate to avoid jail, which is where he's headed the moment he's no longer the ToadPOTUS but just another Toad.

For a pardon, including an admission of guilt, is it possible for trump to prepardon himself before being indicted, a trial, and receiving a conviction of charges?

I don't get it. Why would that be?

This did not start out as an accusation against Trump. It started out as a policy question.  Trump can be sure that he will be the subject of MULTIPLE investigations into his behavior in office.  After demanding that Obama be indicted, I think we can assume that goose-gander thing will be in effect.

If you are saying the only way Trump will try to pardon himself is if he is guilty of something, I am on board with that test.

I won't matter,  when Trump is no longer President a lot of people will go after him. Federal, State, Local,  Individuals.

This is why he wants to be President for life.

Preemptive pardons don't work so Trump won't be issuing one for himself (since he has nothing to pardon himself for).  This is foolishness thought up by the liberals to poke Trump some more since the Russian hoax didn't work!  You can thank your stars that Trump will be here for four more years!

Nixon was pardoned for all crimes without having been indicted. Why is it that the conservatives can’t talk about an issue without bringing up a defense of Trump?

Ten obstruction of justice incidents in the Mueller Report screams otherwise NOTHAPPENING!

Actually, it was Trump who made several inquiries about his ability to pardon himself and his corrupt family!

No Russian "hoax" as you falsely state.

Russians did IN FACT interfere in Trump's unconstitutional election as verified by our Intelligence Agencies and Congressional investigation!

You can thank your stars that Trump will be here for four more years!

Quite bogus as polling data (FACTS) clearly show Trump losing in what may be a record landslide victory for Biden and Trump suffering the biggest defeat in American history!!!

No ..... more facts that get in the way of what Trump supporters would like to believe!

- Trump did, in fact, make inquirers about his ability to pardon himself and his family members!

- All U.S. Intelligence Agencies and Congressional investigations and the Mueller Report did, in fact, verify Russian interference in Trump's election .... thus no "Russian hoax"!

- The Mueller Report did, in fact, identify 10 obstruction of justice instances by Trump

- All national polls do, in fact, show Biden leading Trump by extensive margins!

Loved the Supertramp video. Between trump and pence, this may be a race to see who can throw the other under the bus first. Neither one is qualified to be president. But they certainly qualify for for how to not appear to be qualified to be president. They deserve one another!

Reminder:  a Pardon assumes that the individual is guilty of crimes.    That is the part that will be on donald's tombstone - he was guilty!

Trump may resign to avoid the embarrassment and humiliation of a colossal defeat.

Then Pence can pardon him when Pence ever so briefly becomes president (for a few days). Trump's resignation would also fulfill Pence's horrifically evil prophecy that he is destined to become president.

Hmm.  🤔  Brings up an interesting question.  What if Pence doesn't want to pardon IMPOTUS?  What if Mikey kicks him to the curb (or the gutter as the case may be) when the wackadoodle is back out on the street and no longer able to create havoc.  Pence has his own aspirations to be president and look what happened when Ford pardoned Nixon.  Don't think Mikey wants to hamstring his own chances.

Actually, I think we are going to hear a big GOP collective sigh of relief when the obese one is gone.

That would be the perfect ending to this s storm of a presidency.  Trump announces his resignation, Pence steps to the microphone and simply says "Thank you for your service Mr. President" and Trump knows he has been owned in front of millions.  I love it.
