Re: Sessions lied - again

I hate to say obvious stuff...gets tedious, especially for those who got the point in the first place. But obvious obviously doesn't get through solid rock. Takes  a full-blown sledge to hit that nail so it penetrates.

Then too, there is a shifting audience...what was here today is gone tomorrow.  Miss any takers on the first pass with the stakes what they are and results could be catastrophic.  2016, case in point.

Pretty obvious to pretty much anyone except the ones that just turned the tv on for the first time.  I hear tell 'the donald' watches all the time.  I wonder what he's looking for.

It's also pretty stupid and funny that a poster here latched onto it without doing any fact checking and posted about it.

But hey ............... it's how they roll !

Senate Bill 54, often referred to as California’s sanctuary state law, says, in part, California law enforcement agencies shall not "transfer an individual to immigration authorities unless authorized by a judicial warrant or judicial probable cause determination."

Notably, local law enforcement can cooperate with ICE when undocumented immigrants are convicted of about 800 serious misdemeanors and felonies, said Louis DeSipio, a political science professor at UC Irvine who studies immigration.

"ICE is also able to enter county jails to question immigrants," DeSipio said in an email. "Transfers to ICE are authorized after conviction of 30 or so serious crimes

So Jeff is either really really st-upid...or really really stupid.
