Re: Saudi oil attacks are signs of Trump’s Mideast fiasco

I doubt Iran will negotiate with Bonespurso WUSSolini simply because he's a pathological liar who no one trusts.

They MIGHT agree to the US re-accepting the Nuclear agreement, ending sanctions that harm the Iranian people and drive up oil prices for everyone, because that agreement was negotiated with someone everyone (except Republicans) trusted and respected. Then Iran could supply much of the oil no longer available from Saudi Arabia and we could help the World deal with the Stateless Terrorists plaguing the mideast.

Not just Trump but the entire Republican caucus in Congress have become lying guttersnipes and if the US wants to have stable relationships with ANY foreign country, those mendacious GOPers must be removed from office.

tRump and the Republican Party want endless war. They got it with jrbush lying us into two of them that have stripped $14 TRILLION DOLLARS away from restoring our infrastructure, providing health care for ALL Americans and making college FREE for those who ca ndo the work.

Who to blame, Houthi rebels claim responsibility.  Iran denied  responsibility.  The US and Saudi Arabia blame Iran. Russia wants to sell it's S400 missile defense system to Saudi Arabia.

al Qauda  has carried out attacks against Saudi Arabia using drones at the same facility.

All the war merchants, including the US want to sell arms to Saudi Arabia, the US Congress wants to block arm sales to Iran.

The prices of oil was heading down, an election in the US is coming up, Shale oil states are Trump country, looks like Texas could be in play in the 2020 elections, maybe Georgia too.

The war with Iran is not working, Iran refuses to be provoked into any direct action, the sanctions continue, Iran moves toward enriching uranium.

Trump alienates and attacks allies, starts trade wars around the world, admires despots around the world, calls Nazis very fine people, people who call themselves Nazis Seig Heil Trump.

Trump draws pictures on a weather map with a sharpie predicting Dorian landfall in Louisiana, people form the Gulf call NOA in a panic, meteorologist tell the public Dorain is not going to hit Louisiana .  Trump threatens to fire meteorologist at the National Weather Service  through Wilbur Ross for contradicting him

So here we are, people in the US, people in the world can't believe Trump about the weather.

Why should we believe Trump about the attack on this Saudi oil refinery .

Well, you have to look at a timeline.  When you make a series of bad decisions over time, as Trump has done, you can't look at the decisions made AFTER he has screwed the pooch and say he had not options. The statement is true but the reasons he has no options is his incompetence. Remember TDS is just  the list of facts showing how incompetent Trump really is.

He has been told he can kiss the election goodbye if he goes to war with Iran and they know it too.  They don't believe any of his threats.  Even if he "really, really, means it" and that is the most dangerous situation.  He has outsourced the  middle east situation to the Israelis and the Saudis and America is firmly in the back seat.

Remember when America had influence?

President Obama stepped back from the endless wars that only enrich the ones owning the organizations supporting War (hint: they do not vote Democratic) and moving toward restoring our Grandparents infrastructure that was the envy of the World, so they sent an infantile moron to simply undo all that progress and lock us into the never ending wars that kill the sons and daughters of the bottom 90% and enrich the sons and daughters of the 10%.

tRump said he wanted to negotiate a "better deal" with Iran, but hasn't negotiated diddly sqwat and instead drove Iran further into the hands of their radical fundamentalists, much to the delight of OUR radical fundamentalists who want Armageddon to bring about Rapture so they can get out of the mess they made and have Jesus fix it.

The GOPers have PROVEN we have available about $780BILLION every year - the amount THEY wizzed away for worthless wars every year for 18 years.

Stop for a moment and imagine what we COULD have done with $14Trillion that Republicans arranged to flow into the pockets of their Death Merchants instead of rebuilding and improving our infrastructure.

STOP THE REPUBLICANS

STOP THE WARS

REALLY MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN

Saudi oil attacks are signs of Trump’s Mideast fiasco

Maybe, or maybe the Saudi's blew their refinery up to get oil to $ 100 a barrel.

Iran saber rattling failed, no hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, what to do?

Boom, price of oil shoots up, the whole world pays at the pump.

I suspect oil going up is good for Russia too.

Thanks for the post @Richva , I was hoping someone was going to post about it.

Now.....what does all that "going up in smoke" do to all that hard work all the climate control activists have done????

When it comes to the precious "black blood/oil".....Hmm, will a war will happen over this?!

Saudi oil attacks are signs of Trump’s Mideast fiasco

I know this sounds like a broken record but it is just another observation of a long line of examples. What the regressives call "TDS" is simply an accurate listing of those examples. Trump is completely out of his depth as President.  Based on his history of bankruptcies, I suspect he is out of his depth in almost everything but this impacts our nation.  Is this what being "great again" looks like?

Trump’s Middle East policy has failed. At the root of the problem is Trump’s decision to outsource Middle East leadership to Israel and Saudi Arabia — unlikely allies united by their mutual (and understandable) antipathy toward the Iranian regime.

So here we are with the Middle East tinderbox on the verge of igniting. Iran is signaling that it will break out of the fuel enrichment limits of the nuclear deal and that it will not scale back its destabilizing activities. Israel has responded by stepping up airstrikes against Iranian proxies in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. A costly war with Iran that could drag in Israel, Saudi Arabia and the United States looms ever closer.

MBS launched a blockade of Qatar, another important U.S. ally, in an unsuccessful effort to pressure its royal family to stop supporting Islamist causes. He locked up some of the kingdom’s wealthiest men to extort money he claimed they had acquired corruptly. He kidnapped the prime minister of Lebanon in a failed attempt to force him to stand up to Iran’s proxies in Lebanon. He escalated the war against the Houthis, creating a severe humanitarian crisis in Yemen (10 million Yemenis are on the brink of famine) without dislodging the Houthis. And, of course, he was almost certainly responsible for the murder and dismemberment of Post contributor Jamal Khashoggi.
