Our present nut case president is leading us down a path of idiocy, lies and anarchy. His accusations about wire taps is beyond ridiculous and he may end up paying a dear price for it.

The Trump Thingy simply isn't working out well at all. He is becoming an ebarrassment to those with good sense that supported him.

Of course proof has been offered. A reading of the Marx 10 planks shows a lot of the thinking of the Progressives.

Remember, Marx didn't say, "Let's take over the country, kill millions and build gulags". His philosophy was thought by him to for the betterment of mankind. His intentions were honorable as are the intentions of the thinking Progressives. However, now as then - it's simply impractical.

Those of us who have done well in our careers, our investments, and our political lives though our own efforts tend to be Liberal and Progressive.  We appreciate the benefits a free and open economy have provided along with the public schooling and level playing fields that government and unions helped provide.  I find most people who call Liberals Marxists tend not to understand either one.  They tend to assume that Liberal/Progressive = Marxist and then stop inquiring.  Another example of Alternate Facts.

Let's not mix Liberals and Progressives. The last prominent Liberal was Hubert Humphrey, the Progressives took over the Democratic Party.

Again, check out Marx's planks and you'll see what I mean. Interestingly, the Liberals started as great believers in freedom and individuality. Then the morphing to dependency created a major change in direction more in keeping with Progressivism.

This topic isn't about "Liberal", "Progressives", "Marxism", Marx's planks" "morphing", "dependency", or Progressivism". Open your own topic for that stuff.

Do you care to comment on the actual topic? The 'Trumpy Thingy' just ain't going so well, is it? Distractions don't take away from that fact.

You'll have to take that up with Rich. I was responding to his post.

No.

I suspect that windmill will have to be attacked "entirely by one's lonesome".

If one does not figure it out for oneself, rationally, logically, and coherently list salient portions of the issue, and address pertinent data and information - that lack of action will reveal something else entirely...

Well, cent, it appears that your spokesperson does not wish to be specific as to your claim of an ad hominem attack. How about you, care to comment?

Truly amazing how quickly the GOPers line up behind the latest GOPerLord edicts - this time it's a major emphasis on DENIAL of just about everything they've ever said or done. Obviously this new edict comes straight fromt the tweet of the Twit.

Want to know why Republicans oppose just about everything that will make things better for the 99%? It's those pesky "10 Planks" from Marx they somehow think are turning us all bright Commie Red. To recap, those planks, and the GOPers application of them to current American life are:

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rent to public purpose.

GOPers say this is why we must eliminate "eminent domain" and make property ownership take presidence over the public good - otherwise its Commie

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

This is why GOPers stopped taxing the Uberrich in 1985 - gratuated income tax is Commie

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

This is why GOPers and Der Trumper want to abolish the anti-aristocracy tax and establish heriditary domination of commerace and finance - to do otherwise is Commie

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

Not sure about this one - sounds like Der Trumper's position, so perhaps its okay with GOPers

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.

GOPers did this with Too Big To Fail or Jail, but of course they gave the control to the Banksters

6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the State.

This is how GOPers justify turning internet access over to the corporations - otherwise its Commie, same reason they want to privatize the InterState highway system

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

GOPers want to privatize national parks to prevent this one

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

This is why GOPers are passing laws to destroy Unions

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.

Believe it or not, GOPers think this is why they must oppose zoning regulations

10. Free education for all children in government schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.

And of course this is why they keep trying to destroy public education - the nits thinks its Commie.

I'm not even going to address the absurd claim no Republican has said the USSR was Communist, other than to point out that is how far GOPers will go to deny their actions.

Well, you actually have addressed it.

Bottom line - as I have clearly stated, the USSR was not "Communism" as defined by Marx. So, looking at the Marx ten planks, one will see the agenda of the Progressive ideology of the modern, Progressive Democratic Party. Strangely, when I mention that, the idea is attacked by references to the Republicans (or "GOPers"), not the Progressives. As illustrated by the above.

Der Trumper's infantile tantrums has cost him the "100 day honeymoon" virtually every President has enjoyed. His conspicious nincompoopery has his approval rating at the beginning of his reign about where jrbush ended, after having lied us into two worthless wars and created the greatest economic disaster since 1929.

Trouble is, the psychotic twit IS the POTUS, and has already managed to do irreprable harm with his undoing environmental protectrions and handing $85Million from the US Treasury to the "extraction" industry, removing the restrictions on coal companies poisoning our water and of course killing the electric car via Executive Order.

thanks again all you Hillary haters who couldn't bother to vote or pulled the "green" lever as an act of "conscience". How's that conscience thingie working out for you now with the most ignorant President ever calling the shots?

Hey Kim, et al - the best laid plans, by well meaning folks do not always produce intended effect.

All appears ripe to prepare for the long-term plan.   But, take into consideration theTime, Place, and People.  Not quite the soil as before for ''tis much richer and educated.  What?  Educated may refer to many kinds ofknowledge.  It will take all that diverse knowledge to keep all the "Kim's, et al" from the "Stone Soup."

Newest data from Quinninac (sp) polling:

American voters say 52 – 40 percent that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath during his confirmation hearings and say 51 – 42 percent that he should resign, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today.

Voters disapprove 54 – 32 percent of the way President Donald Trump is handling U.S. policy towards Russia, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University poll finds.

American voters support 66 – 30 percent an “independent commission investigating potential links between some of Donald Trump’s campaign advisors and the Russian government.” The only listed party, gender, age or racial group opposed is Republicans, opposed 64 – 30 percent.

A total of 61 percent are “very concerned” or “somewhat concerned” about President Trump’s relationship with Russia.

Donald et al are losing their own party, drip by drip by drip.     WOWZER
