Cruz made an observation about Nancy Pelosi.  She did not want the meeting televised.  President Trump said it would be better to be transparent.  I agree it's much better to be transparent with the American people.  I am sure you agree with that.

BTW, he is right...  She's scared.

Nancy scared? ROFL. It takes more than a two bit fraud like Trump to ruffle her feathers.

No cameras would have far better for Trump. Being on camera meant the world got to see an out of control nitwit with the bonus that he's now on tape saying he'll be proud to own shutting down the government if he doesn't get his way. Schumer opened to door to that trap and the fool walked right in.

First of all, THE DAILY CALLER, @jimc91. I thought you had given up using that debunked media source.

She's scared..... you've got to be kidding!!!!

Because the best statement of the televised "BEAT DOWN" of INDIVIDUAL-1 was when Pelosi reminded INDIVIDUAL-1 that he doesn't have the VOTES for the wall and then she reprimanded him for his lie after lie he spewed regarding the security of the wall. It is at that time that INDIVIDUAL-1 called an end to the televised meeting and ran off with his tail between his legs.

I, in fact, thought I heard a dog like yelping coming from INDIVIDUAL-1'S seat.

By the way, folks. Did anybody pay any attention to Pence's body language? It looked like he needed to have his pulse taken. It also looked like he didn't know where to place his hands....... maybe INDIVIDUAL-1 forgot to tell him where to place the hands.

Individual-1 always makes that triangle signal with his hands at every televised event where he is seated.

As Tuesday’s White House talks between President Trump, Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer turned into an on-camera debate on border wall funding, it soon became clear that both Democratic politicians would have been much more comfortable having the discussion away from public view.

Talks were going well until Pelosi used the words “Trump shutdown” to describe the government shutdown that could happen if a deal wasn’t reached.

As the two sides debated the issue, both Democratic leaders expressed their desire to talk privately more than once. Trump, on the other hand, seemed to relish the debate, even using the word “transparency” to describe it.

“Let’s call a halt to this,” said Pelosi at around the middle of the televised exchange. “We have come in here as the first branch of government. Article I. The legislative branch. We are coming in good faith to negotiate with you about how we can keep the government open.”

“Open,” Schumer echoed.

“We are going to keep it open if we have border security,” said Trump. “If we don’t have border security, Chuck, we are not going to keep it open.”

“I’m with you,” said Pelosi. “We are going to have border security.”

“You are bragging about what has been done,” Schumer told Trump. “We want to do the same thing we did last year this year. That’s our proposal. If it’s good then, it’s good now, and it won’t shut down the government.”

When Trump told him we “can build more,” Schumer said: “Let’s debate in private. OK? Lets debate in private.” (RELATED: TRUMP SAYS ‘I’M PROUD TO SHUT DOWN GOVERNMENT’ TO SCHUMER, PELOSI)

Even when the on-camera conversation seemed to be at an end, it continued.

Pelosi stated that the conversation has “spiraled downward,” saying later, “We came in here in good faith, and we entered into this kind of discussion in the public view.”

“But it’s not bad, Nancy,” interrupted Trump. “It’s called transparency.”

“I know. It’s not transparency when we’re not stipulating to a set of facts and we want to have a debate with you about saying we confront some of those facts … ” Pelosi started before continuing. “Let us have a conversation where we don’t have to contradict in public the statistics that you put forth but instead can have a conversation about what will really work,” she said later.

Pelosi later told reporters that her desire to have the conversations in private was because she didn’t want to correct Trump in public.

“I hear the reporters or Fox reporters saying why did we not want transparency in this discussion,” said Pelosi. “We don’t want to contradict the president when he was putting forth figures that had no reality to them, no basis in fact. We had to if we are going to proceed in all of this have evidence-based factual, truthful information about what works and what doesn’t. I didn’t want to in front of those people say you don’t know what you are talking about.”

‘SHE’S SCARED’ — TED CRUZ CRITICIZES PELOSI FOR WANTING TO TURN CAMERAS OFF DURING WHITE HOUSE MEETI

Texas Senator Ted Cruz lauded President Trump’s performance during Tuesday’s Oval Office exchange with Democratic leaders.

During Tuesday night’s edition of Fox News’ “Hannity,” Cruz also criticized Rep Nancy Pelosi, calling her stated desire to take the discussion off-camera a result of being “scared” because she’s on the “losing end of the argument.”

Fox News host Sean Hannity began the segment by comparing Cruz’s own 2013 filibuster on healthcare to Trump’s “fighting on borders now.”

“Why don’t we see more of this in the Republican Party?” he asked.

“I think you are exactly right,” Cruz responded. “The American people have for a long time been frustrated with Washington, frustrated that too many elected officials don’t follow through on their promises, and they want us to do what we said we would do.”

Cruz called the president’s Oval Office debate with Democratic leaders “terrific.”

“He was standing up and saying ‘we’re going to keep our promise, we’re gonna secure border, we’re gonna build the wall,'” said Cruz. “And I’ll tell you one of the surest indications on how unhappy the Democrats were in that exchange is over and over again Nancy Pelosi says, ‘can we turn the TV cameras off? We are not supposed to be doing this publicly.’ You can tell they’re on the losing end of the argument when she’s scared that cameras are showing that she and the Democrats are for open borders and the president is fighting to do what the American people want which is secure the border, build the wall and keep our country safe.”

Cruz and Hannity then discussed the often-overstated implications of the partial government shutdown that could occur if no deal is reached.
