You are right McConnell and his Party did disagree with Obama's Progressive (Marxist) agenda and planned to oppose it - through the normal ways.

First, what a short memory, "McConnell and his party" opposed whatever President Obama was going to do before his first full day in office. Before he had an agenda.

Second, could you please tell us what made any agenda Obama had Marxist? *dying laughing*

Well, "us" Obamacare for one. Then, there is the all the regulations that placed a lot of power in the hands of the Federal government. How about the federal government dictating which bathrooms HS kids got to use? Remember, it is "we the people" in charge of everything through the representation of the central government.

Control yourself - "dying is not an enjoyable thing.

REALLY?  What have you done, forgotten or ignored the Obama years?  Remember McConnell:  "Number one on our agenda is to make Obama a one term president".  They were the Party of No for eight years, both of Obama's terms.  They voted in lockstep against any proposed legislation by the Democrats and/or Obama, wouldn't even vote on his nominations for the Supreme Court. There was no such thing as a "go along and get along approach" by the Republicans except in some right wing fantasy land.  That dang reality thing shoots down your erroneous claim.

You are right McConnell and his Party did disagree with Obama's Progressive (Marxist) agenda and planned to oppose it - through the normal ways. There was no effort to undo his election. He certainly had his way with his EOs. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I never saw "Obama sucks" posted here....but....

Generally speaking, "go along to get along" has been a tradition of the R Establishment. Trump came along and made it clear that would not be his style and Establishment opposed while the people responded.

racial discord/violence

We have that every day by our politicians and cable networks. Lets worry about that.

And don't forget our posters here who are willingly aiding the Russian efforts to weaken us through division.

Yep, I wish the Far Right trump supporters would stop doing that.

Cute but inaccurate.

Putin has an approval rating of 79%?!! Putin controls his approval rating, just like he controls the elections. It makes no sense for the US to try and hack into Russia's elections because they're a total farce. I seriously doubt they even count the votes - Putin is declared the winner, no matter how people vote. Plus, I imagine they know who votes for whom, so you'd be putting yourself and your family in danger if you didn't vote for Putin. Where are you getting this information about how US intelligence has tried to interfere with Russian elections?

It is fully understandable that he would be looked at that way. The left (and the never Trumpers) are not used to a Republican who stands up to the Dems. They are very used to a "go along to get along" approach from the Republicans.

As a result, the idea of compromise or working together on anything but their desired outcome is foreign to them.

I'll upgrade my last post to some of the best projection ever. Trump is a hatemongering divider and has been from day one. Everyone but those who are lovestruck and blinded by tribalism see it plainly.

That's some enviable projection. LOL
