Robert De Niro's Trump comments at Tony Awards go viral

DeNiro showed he is just another potty mouthed actor that hate Trump ... so typical of the hate on the left. Very sad for our great country.

Its the action of people like De.Niro that could well lead to another four years of Trump.

What's sad is that we have people condoning his behavior...doing that they show they also lack class .

A good many has (sic), apparently not enough when 94% of Americans state it's a problem.  but there are some who keeps dragging up racism and bigotry to keep it alive. No, it's "alive" because we have many racists in this country.  Many adults believe mature discussions can be used to resolve most problems, especially those when perception and ignorance is the key root causes. Perhaps to their benefit in some way? We all benefit when hate diminishes. Some just can't help their LOL at everything. Yep, there are some funny folks here.

And yes, I enjoyed the movie also. It did well with audiences, but many didn't like it.....some critics called it "silly".  Oh well, to each their own. One could see Walts in many situations.

And yes, I enjoyed the movie also.  One could see Walts in many situations. 

And even though Clint Eastwood plays tough characters, he was only a Special Services lifeguard in California during the Korean conflict.

They can role play all they want in acting, but that doesn't make them experts to be outspoken in real life.  Save the acting for the screen or Broadway.

TxGrandpa2 was referring to overall perceptions such as those about John Wayne as a tough military hero, especially when he never served himself since he was always getting deferments; or Clint Eastwood with his Dirty Harry persona. 

But basically these Hollywood people are more too full of themselves overall.   No doubt over a period of time they start equating themselves with the characters they play.

Hollywood actors tend to take themselves too seriously in identifying with the roles they play and giving them a feeling of self-importance.   Politicians encourages(sic) them by kissing up for money and support.

If TxGrandpa2 had sufficient understanding of what is involved in acting at any level above that of rank amateurism - and understood what goes into creating a believable character - he would know about "unspoken internal dialogue and unwritten motivation" and the necessity to work with the writers to create a "history" for the character prior to what is seen on screen or on stage...

TxGrandpa2 would also understand that it has been known to take as long as six months to "lose" some of the less desirable aspects of a character that often does intrude into and adversely affect portions of the actor's real world life...

It's common place for some here to act as resident expert.  A little information is dangerous in the wrong hands.
