Pay attention to (a). So even if some "high-ranking government official/politician" were permitted to take pictures, they could not be released to the general public.

You think that every member of our media abide by the codes?

Then there are workers that will take pictures for the media...and get a reward for doing it.

Nice.  Go ahead and take your best shot at my thinking ability.

But remember, I am not advocating that the media and government workers break federal regulations and claiming they will GET REWARDED FOR DOING IT!  This is a reprehensible accusation and I suggest you have evidence to back it up.

I think taking pictures or video is generally prohibited or restricted in any federal facility due to security and privacy concerns. Usually the pictures we see have been released through the government.

"Usually the pictures we see have been released through the government."

That does not make sense. Why? Because the pictures we get to see show overcrowded conditions, etc. .... not what our government would want us to see.

You want to see some 'pretty' pictures (yes, including toilets)?  Read the 6/3/19 OIG/DHS report - Concerns about ICE Detainee Treatment and Care at Four Detention Facilities.

Last time I checked, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security is part of the U.S. government.  And besides, why would our government not want us to see?  Why would they want to sugarcoat the situation?  Unless someone in charge is trying to downplay it.

Do the Alt Left Socialists ever read any real news?  They hear or see one thing and are ready to pounce and consider it 'truth'.

Maybe this will help them see something different, or maybe they already have but won't believe it:

https://noqreport.com/2019/07/04/tucson-cbp-chief-roy-villareal-gives-tour-concentration-camp/

Again, the media has one job to do, and they fail at it every day.

Now you're suggesting the OIG report is not real?!

Nice video of a agent giving us a tour of a processing center (crackers? one-use toothbrushes?), but how about showing us where the immigrants are actually housed?  I think I'll believe a U.S. government agency over the American Conservative Movement.

AOC never said SHE saw people drinking out of toilets.

THE PEOPLE FORCED TO DRINK OUT OF TOILETS DID!

Of course GOPers will claim those people can't be trusted (because they're poor AND brown) and we must take the word of the (rich white) people who get $750/kid/day and STILL keep the kids for MONTHS in facilities used before as a TEMPORARY confinment of no more than 72 hours, AFTER the guards removed the mattresses and blankets and stopped providing soap, towels and showers and started molesting the children in their clutches.

Just like they conspired to let their good friend Jeffrey Epstein get away with turning hundreds of young boys and girls into sex slaves, and continue to play "WHATABOU CLINTON" to disguise their support for Epstein and other rich perverts.

And we have people that believe her!!!

I say AOC is a liar.   Who else saw a person drinking out of toilets. The answer is simple - no one.  You know she has no credibility since she says we will all be inundated with water due to Climate Change in 12 years.

You are taking her words out of context for the 12 years and non of those words had anything to do with "inudated with water". Link attached.

I have linked to two articles about how migrants are drinking out of toilets. As easy as it is to show that the Regressives are denying things which happened and making things up that did not. it does get tedious.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/us-border-patrol-migrants-drink-toilet...

https://www.kvia.com/news/border/migrants-told-to-drink-from-toilets-at-el-paso-border-station-congr...

We all know, this bartender turned politician is not the brightest bulb in the pack, but I would suspect she knows how to use a smart phone and would have one in her possession. Would it not make sense to capture a video of such an atrocity of poor children drinking out of toilets?

You are right, @Richva , this does get tedious.

OK, one more time, for the girls and boys who weren't paying attention earlier, let me repeat --

NO CAMERAS OR CELLPHONES ARE ALLOWED INSIDE DURING A TOUR.

Got it?  Understand?

And for the girls and boys who only pay attention to what they want to hear/see.....No cameras, no cellphones = no VF link/proof.

= cover up by the Trump administration ..... cover up for their vile treatment of people seeking asylum!

Don't know why I even respond to this but are Socialists really this lost that they always have to revert to badmouthing Pres Trump when they have no response to the subject?

The subject has nothing to do with "Socialists". So that's just another evasion. Stay on topic.

Again you are ignoring the topic - "Alexandra Ocasio-CortezRep stated migrants were "drinking out of toilets." And you took to diverting from the topic to spew more hate at our President - does that mean you're a 'racist', like Obomba's people called Conservatives every time they made a comment about him?

Stay on topic - blaming Pres Trump has nothing to do with A O'Crazio's made-up stories to get attention.

Wrong again. Trump is responsible for the vile conditions AOC found at Trump's concentration camps. Thus, discussing his gross incompetence in this matter is a very important element of the topic.

That's not true. Pres Trump warned Nancy, Chuck, and the other Libs it was a crisis but they refused to vote financial help for them, calling it a "manufactured crisis" and all the Socialist Libs echoed...so NOW it IS a 'crisis'?  All of America knows it could have been prevented but the Liberals refused to plan ahead for the invasion of thousands BEFORE it became this crisis...It's ALL on them now!  I still wonder if Libs didn't create the crisis and then do nothing hoping it would make our President look bad.  That seems to be all they care about.

It makes good sense as it shows we still have some decent people working for the govt. Why do you think Trump is replacing people in govt. He wants his dishonesty to go to every level of people working for the Govt. A dictatorship will always have only people who are like the Dictator working at the top, but it will have people like the enablers working below who stand for nothing and do what they are told.

Why limit access to only the left? Let the right have access at the same time also.

And without having to schedule a visit, for legislators and the press. Along with speaking with immigrants, or staff. And allowed to take pictures or video.

Are there laws against this?

I am not convinced that high-ranking government officials/politicians would not be permitted to take photos.  We must keep in in mind, the facility (concentration camp) along with those barbaric cages?? were constructed during the reign of our last president not the current one.

The Democrats who posted the video/photos of the overcrowding deleted them when they realized they were from 2014.

Sure.  OK.  Whatever you say.  *sighs audibly*
