Q being slapped by Twitter

Q is a far right fringe group and there are 2 candidates running under the GOP party name who are proudly displaying their fondness and belief in Q.

QAnon emerged from the fringes of the internet's conspiracy community to become a recognized political phenomenon, with Trump supporters showing up at events with "Q" merchandise. QAnon followers have also been implicated in armed standoffs, attempted kidnappings, harassment and at least one killing since the conspiracy theory first gained traction on the internet in October 2017.

Last year, the FBI designated QAnon as a potential domestic terrorist threat. The FBI's report on QAnon's ties to dangerous real-world activities led in part to Twitter's decision, a spokesperson said.

Twitter has recently blocked 7000 of the Q  accounts and placed limits on 150,000 other accounts.   One has to wonder if the politician wannabees who are running on the GOP ticket have had their blue checkmarks removed.

The sort of mindless and factless BS spewed by QAnon was always "there", but until the internet, no one with a media outlet would let it out from under its rock. Nice to see someone on the internet has come to the same conclusion our grandparents reached decades ago - Conspiracy Theories and promoting the destruction of our democratic institutions is a pernicious bacillus that can and will kill Freedom if allowed to spread.

A major news organization just did a one-hour documentary (yes, actual news organizations actually do produce documentaries...does Fox? Of course NOT!  Because they are NOT a "News Organization; by their own admission.....they are an entertainment entity, not unlike Comedy Central) on trump's conspiracy theories and "Q" is a prominent figure in trump's conspiracy theory's.  Remember "Pizzagate"?  A "Q" production....

The program will be shown again this Friday at 11:00 p.m. Eastern
