And maybe he (Obama) was speaking from experience, having been raised by a single mother, with the help of grandparents, and an absent father.

And then there's the whole endorsing a pedophile thing.

"both parents having to work full time"

So we have a family ... that is a good thing and that is what is needed.

One way of looking at your first situation is that those who cannot afford children should not have children.

School funding - the national average spending per student is $9,562. The DC spending is $26,661. DC does not rank high in performance showing the the leftist standard view of "spend more of the other guy's money" does not answer all problems.

Perhaps President Obama's remarks were also influenced by the 60,000+ children he was having to deal with that were sent here ALONE over long distances, over treacherous terrain, by treacherous methods by their Latin American parents.

How about all the children in rural south that were slaves, and the children bought and sold by the ruling class till the civil war ended most of it. How about the children lynched by the KKK.

How about the Africans sold by their fellow African slave traders? How about those slaves in Rome forced to fight each other for the entertainment of others? How about those indentured servants that came to our nation? How about them Brooklyn Dodgers?

Now, do you have anything relevant to the topic?

I am not sure what your post has to do with the subject and the other comments of the thread.

It has as much to do with it as yours. Just following your lead.
